I have a friend who's wife was just diagnosed with a very large tumor in her uterus/ovaries. It is believed to be benign but ofcourse, they can not be sure until they operate. My friend and his wife are, ofcourse, very very frightened and she is in a lot of pain. She is a young girl, in her mid twenties, who was diagnosed with MS not too long ago as well. They have been thru so much. It's just not fair. Please pray for her that this will be benign and she will be okay.

Hi Wendy,
My prayers are with you, your friend and her family. I know it is very hard, but try to cancel negative thoughts and feelings with positive thoughts. God be with you.

I've just finished my prayer for your friend. May God bring her and her husband peace of mind and alleviate their worries.

My initial reaction is that this is a benign tumor. A cancerous tumor that is "very large" would have likely caused all kinds of other problems by now; benign tumors tend to just grow and sit there and make you uncomfortable.

I like to heal with humor, as well, so tell your friend to just think of how much weight she'll have lost when all is said and done, and she wouldn't have even had to go on a diet! Of course, you might want to wait until they've, in fact, determined the tumor is benign before you try to ease her mind with such humorous quips. Laughter really is the best medicine, though. It releases chemicals in the body that help fight pain and boost the immune system. So, make your friend laugh. It'll make her feel better, whether she realizes it or not. :)

TYVM Catwoman and Jo! :)
