O/T Just a little weather rambling here!

So we're supposed to get 6-10 inches of snow between tonight and tomorrow here in beautiful northern Virginia. Just when I thought I wouldn't need to dig my car out of the snow anymore. :-( How am I supposed to use the bike trail when the weather is that crappy??? Spring better get off it's butt and show up soon!

Sorry, had to get it out of my system.

Sorry, I can't have too much pity on you! ;) I live in Boston and we are expect about twice that, not to mention that we just got another 6 last week and have been consistenty adding to the snow pile about once a week or week and a half!

I grew up in NJ and it used to be that a few inches would cause concern. I have lived here for about 9 years now. I was joking with a friend from my hometown that I don't even blink for "anything under 6 or 8 inches!"

All kidding aside, I feel your pain. There is a lake here that I like to walk around and I went last weekedn to walk b/c it felt a little warmer outside. My poor cheeks had windburn and I was FREEZIN'! x(

Wow, I can just shut up, huh? :D I lived in New Mexico until last August and there people start hoarding canned goods if they get 1/4"! I guess I just need to get used to it! Hope you keep warm!

I wish we had snow to complain about! I live in the Northern Rocky Mountains (Montana) and we are dry as a bone. No snow, just dead grass and dust to look at.:-( ;(

Don't hate me, but here in Oregon, spring has come early! All of my daffodils are blooming. It is sunny and 64 outside and I'm going to get off the computer and go enjoy it!

Maggie:)

A pox upon your house, Maggie!

I'm right outside of Philly, 10 to 15 for us. I just hope it waits until afternoon to get really bad. I have to take DD to the dr in the morning. If I get to work & they shut the base down (McGuire AFB), I get paid for the remaining part of the day. If I don't make it to work, I have to take an entire day of leave.

I live in Kansas, and it just cracked me up when I visited Florida during the winter a while back. Those people were wearing fur parkas (okay, a little exaggeration) and freezing to death (okay, not to death, but very cold). We went swimming in the ocean (not exaggerated at all). Perspective makes all the difference, I guess. I do agree, though, that I wish spring would hurry up. My spring fever doesn't seem to want to wait much longer.
