O/T>Dress for a Wedding.....

I went shopping this morning as I am trying to find a dress for a wedding I am going to. All I see is black, black and more black. There are other dresses too there, but they remind me of what my grandmother would wear. Then you have the junior miss section which is what I usually buy from, but didn't find any I liked or would appropriate. The mall is too far away from me and I don't have the time to shop there.

Would a black strapless dress be appropriate? As I already have one.

Black strapless would be great - pair it with a pair of red heels and a cute red hand purse and you will be good to go! That way you add a splash of color!

I think it would be fine, as long as you wear something over it for the church part of the wedding. A shawl or pashmina or shrug or something of that ilk.

Seriously, if you want my advice I need more info. Is it an afternoon or evening affair? Do you know what color the bridesmaids' dresses are? What kind of tuxes are the grooms wearing? What kind of place is the reception being held? Is it rubber chicken or filet mignon?
