NuWave Infrared Oven

Does anyone have a NuWave Infrared Oven? I'm considering buying one but would like to hear from others who have one to get their input if it's worth while or not.

Thanks!
Brenda

We have 2. One for the home & one is kept in our fifth-wheel trailer. My husband uses it several times a week, mostly for cooking chicken. Being able to cook the meat from frozen is a nice feature for him. I'm a vegetarian, so I don't use it that often, but we have cooked corn on the cob as well.

We bought them at Kohl's when we had the 30% off discount:rolleyes:

Thanks for the info. I didn't realize Kohl's carried them. I'll have to check the Kohl's in my area.

lily64,

Do you cook your vegetables on the NuWave? If not, how do you cook them?

Thanks!
Brenda

I do a lot of my veggies raw, but I also use the steamer for broccoli. I'll stir fry peppers, spinach, & mushrooms on the stovetop. I also cook sweet potatoes in the microwave. My husband makes really delicious veggies on the grill by coating them with olive oil, onion powder, and garlic salt and then cooking them in some wok-type pans that we put on the grill. I think corn on the cob is the only vegetable that we've done in the NuWave, but there are probably others that we can try. Hope this helps!
