Nutrisystem + BBC = Results

At least for me. It's been about a month and I don't know how much weight I lost beause I will not get on the scale but the mirror and my clothes don't lie. I can finally see tricep definition :)
I'm not even doing the NS on the weekends. Just trying not to overindulge on Sat and Sun.

For me it's been worth the money for NS and the pain from BBC.

Barry's Boot Camp is DA BOMB!!! I'm only doing approx 20 minutues non treadmill cardio 6 days a week versus the 45-50 minutes 5 days a week I used to do. One body part per day worked but very high rep. I strongly recommend for all endomorphs

:)

I am trying to decide whether to thank you or curse you (the Glenda the Good Witch kind). I have been on the fence for this one and your post is making me very BBC hungry.

The cardio results surprise me; only 20 minutes?

Good for you! That tricep definition is the hardest to get for me. I feel HSN calling.............................

Cheryl

How challenging is the cardio in BBC? I love tough stuff. Cathe has some awesome workouts and I really like her style. How do you think BBC compares? Also, is is possible to string BBC cardio (non-treadmill) into one longer workout for more intensity? Thanks

Kristen

The non treadmill cardio in BBC compares to the cardio in Cathe's Bootcamp and the cardio blast in Kick Max. Some of the moves are the same as Cathe's and then there are some new moves which are mostly plyometric in nature. I don't know if it qualified as HIIT because I don't feel like I can't complete the cardio portion but it was very difficult the first week. Not a problem any more.

You could string out the cardio more by repeating the non treadmill portion but it will be very repetitive and the boredom factor may kick in. Basically, each instructor designs 10 minutes of cardio and does the same exercises two times for a total of 20 minutes. I am wondering if the whole point is to ONLY do 20 minutes so the muscle isn't cannabalized. Someone mentioned that they do both the treadmill portion and the non treadmill portion to get more cardio. I am a high intensity gal and these are high intensity.

The warm ups are poor but it's obvious they want you to do the weights first because the warm up is included in the weight section.

I gotta tell you, I am really glad I purchased BBC.

BTW, if you buy via HSN I believe you can return them if you're not happy with your purchase.

One of these days I will stop reading these forums... Well I wish - cause I have to come here daily.... But my credit card would appreciate it!!!! :)

I just ordered this series from HSN and used my ebates account to get an additional 2% back... I am looking forward to trying them out - thanks for posting your results so far!

That's awesome Candi. Congratulations! I remember when I was boasting about it and that pushed you into purchasing it too. Now you have me thinking about doing a rotation of it. I quickly missed Cathe and started adding her back in. Then I wanted to try freestyle. Maybe I can do it again but add legs everyday.

Great results, I'm jealous of the tricep definition!

How do you like the NS food? Does your family eat it too, or do they cook for themselves?

Lori

Well, family for me is just me and DH. I prepare something different for him but he is not fussy so that makes things easy on me.

As far as the NS food, I have been pleasantly surpised. There are only a couple of things I'm not thrilled with but for the most part, the food is filling and flavorful.
