Cathe and educated crowd....

First of all, congrats on the surgery and here's to a speedy and smooth recovery!

I have been doing your workouts for almost a year (You are the best!), and have been very happy with the results. I have just purchased the GS series, and finished a three week rotation using them. The results have been great, but I tend to beef up quite easily. In fact, I had no idea the results would be SO great...I almost want to tone down a bit. I do not know where to go from here. I feel I have a bit too much mass, and not enough definition. My diet has been super clean (the cleanest it can get), and I am doing cardio three to five times a week for 40-60 mins. I have just purchased the slow and heavy series, and planned to do a three week rotation with them, hoping for more definition. Will this make me beef up more, or chisle(sp?) my muscles? HELP!!!! What should I do??

Thank you so much for any input, and Happy Easter!!

I'm pretty sure the SH series is meant for strength/mass building. With that series, ideally you use the heaviest weight you can because it's short rep sets (8 reps per set). My advice would be to do a rotation using more of the endurance oriented workouts along with cardio to help define all of that muscle mass it sounded like you've built!! Maybe use some of the videos like PUB, Muscle Endurance, CTX Upper body, Muscle Max, etc. I'm sure there are others out there that fit the "endurance" approach (lighter weights/more reps), but those are the only ones I know of or can think of off the top of my head. Hopefully others will chime in with some advice!! Keep up the great work!!
