Now that Cathe added the premixes.......

to the new series, how many of you have changed your mind and decided to order them??
I thought I really didn't need/want them , since they are geared towards more of a beginner , but now seeing the premixes, I really am thinking about changing my mind.
Does anyone one know how long the presale lasts?
Also I think I saw this question somewhere but never saw it answered, does anyone know if you have the option to make the music louder? (an option I wish were on everyone of Cathe's dvd's!!!)
Somebody talk me out of it.......QUICK!!!!!
I'm buying Cathe workouts like there's no tomorrow!!!!!
 :p ;-)

I was actually thinking the same thing. yesterday, I had all but the credit card pulled up on this website. They do sound good don't they. Maybe, someone can talk some sense into both of us. I do love her videos and don't want to miss them. I did order the other beginner workouts and don't use them at all. I am a little afraid I won't use these either. Thats why I haven't ordered them. Karen

I went for it! Just as much out of loyalty and a sick desire to own everything she puts out}( I also liked the premixs' and thought this is good for slump days or when I fall off the wagon and need to get back on....like now:p I figure an "easy Cathe" is better than the Firm anyday and considering I sold all of those this could be a nice fit.

STOP STOP STOP!!!!! I was adamant that I was NOT going to buy these workouts, but now you've all got me to the point where I'm almost going to get my credit card. The madness has got to stop!!

:D Sandra

I had to get these too. Even though I don't do her other beginner/intermediate ones too often, I also have the sick desire to own everything Cathe makes :D I like the look of the premixes and the use of the stability ball. I'm sure we won't be disappointed with Cathe! I also agree that an easy Cathe is better than anyone else any day. :)

Dani, You are NOT helping us !!!!!!! :D ;) :)
I am thinking the same thing as both of you.......am worried I won't use it because I have a beginner high step tape that I used ONCE....don't want to buy another one that just sits. But also that the premixes make it more something I think I might use......and yes, we all have "slump" days. Not every day can be a BOOTCAMP or VIPER day! Right?????
Ohhhhhhh........dh is gonna kill me but I really think I might get them.
An added incentive for me is that I am wanting Power Hour and if I buy the new series, I don't have to pay shipping for PH!!!!
ackkkkkk! I almost have to do it, don't I ????;-)

It's tragic. I went to the CK Sales website and saw their presale price. After that, there was no turning back. I have just purchased these two dvds.

Actually, something Cathe said on the Ask Cathe forum made me rethink about buying these. She answered a question from someone about doing a new intermediate/advanced step workout, saying that the premixes on these dvds will take the workouts to the higher intensity level. So, maybe I'll get more use out of these workouts than I have of Basic Step.

The rest of you please give in to your urge, so I don't feel like the only spineless being on the forums.

Cheers,
Sandra

Don't feel bad, Sandra! I had no intention of getting them either...until Cathe made that post about the premixes making them more intermediate /advanced! That about did it! And I got a baby-tee as well (really wanted it in the baby blue but those aren't being sold here yet on the website :().

So you're not the only one!

I was absolutely certain I was NOT going to get these...however, after Cathe posted the premixes to give them more "umph"...I felt compelled to have them around. My daughter is going to one day want to be a stepper (only because she watches me) but I feel that having them now will make them easier for her to grab when SHE is ready. She is a little young now at 8...but at these presale prices...I had to get them! But, she needs basic step routines to start with and I don't think Step Blast is a good starter workout for her! Giggle... And there are days I want light cardio...and this would be great for me!

Okay I bought them too , Plus Power Hour!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I can't wait to get them.
You guys were NOT helpful in talking me out of it at all ! :p HA!!:D

Becky, just as I was about to post that you have to go for it, if for no other reason that to push you into Power Hour, I see that you did it!! PH is one of my top picks and you will LOVE it!!

:7 :7 :7 I'm glad I did it !! I leave tomorrow on vacation and this is going to be the FIRST time I'm actually anxious to get home!!! Hopefully PH will be waiting for me!! I really think I'll love it .

Yes, I also caved and ordered the new workouts. It was Cathe's message and the premixes that pushed me over the edge. I was so sure I wouldn't order. So much for self control!

I am still on the edge here, I like the premix idea, that almost did it. But I still don't like breaking combos down alot, and it sounds like that is what she has done to enable the beginner/intermediate level to "get" her choreography. One of the reasons I like Cathe so much is that she doesn't do alot of break down of combos.

I still hesitate...:-(

No, I'm not gettting these. I wasn't then and the premixes do nothing to change my mind.

These DVDs are catering to an entirely different crowd and until I hit 70 with arthritis, I am not one of them. I doubt many of you are either.

There is absolutely no point in getting everything Cathe puts out just because. Surely you have better things to spend money on, even if it's just saving it for her next truly advanced series.

I really cannot afford to waste my money, there's so little of it around.

Clare

There are still a few older DVD's I want to add to my inventory, so for now, these will be put on the backburner.

I ordered the cardio/strength DVD last week. I like to check these out and since I have never sold any of my friends on the advanced workouts, though I have tried, I think these may be key to getting someone hooked, someone who doesn't say "they are too hard"! :)

I'm on the fence as well. You guys are really twisting my arm. My DH said, "What do you want those for?" I did see the post to Cathe about making it a more intermediate work out.
I do have some older ones that are still on my wish list (which is much smaller now:eek:).

I was thinking of getting them for my SIL for x-mas. She's just getting into working out. This way I could always borrow them and try them out too.

How long does the presale last?
