November rotation day 1

I have finished yet my first day of my first rotation. My triceps and chest are fried now. My triceps were shaking during the dips. S & H is tought but I love that slow manner. I think it is very useful to really work the muscles. I am going to be focus in clean eating. During this month I have promised myself to work harder and be careful with what I eat. I am going to try protein shakes. S & H is hard but with the motivation of the hardcore pictures I know I am going to give the 100% I have. I have print the muscle max first picture to see that when I am working out and it's help very much.
I love the pink outfits of IMAX 3.They are pretty.If I buy them I will get that body too ?.

Today I start the November rotation. I will check in with you periodically. This will be a challenge for me because I prefer endurance workouts.

I did the first day S&H chest/triceps and abs. I haven't done S&H in so long forgot how nice it was for a change. I decided to do the November rotation because it looked like fun and something I can do. There will be a couple workouts I won't be doing because I don't have the videos but figure I can replace them. Glad there is a check in for this rotation.

I have to be on my best behavior with food also. It looks like I need to get in better shape for the new tapes. Can't believe how high they are jumping.

Hi everyone!

I just finished today's workouts too. My chest is on fire, major DOMS tomorrow. I'm also glad Slow and Heavy is included becasue I don't use it as often as I should. When I do use it, the results are great.

I am so amazed by the pics they have posted. Hmmmm I wonder if, and wha, they are filming today? I can't wait.

I will be starting Cathe's November rotation some time today too. I haven't done a 4 day split in a while, so I will be looking forward to this rotation. My goal this month is to seriously eat cleaner!! I have so much Halloween candy in the house which makes it hard. I need to lose about 5 pounds, so I will be workin harder this month }( . I LOVE LOVE LOVE the pink on Cathe and crew!! I can't wait for these workouts already!!

Thank you Judy.I prefer the endurance workouts too. I do two or three times in a week ME,PH or the upper body split of ctx series.Using S & H is going to surprises our muscles and it will be great.
Aila and Sherry I don't use often S & H too. In fact I have use it only one week but today I really have liked my workout.

Rhonda it is true they jump very high. they are using shoes with wings in IMAX 3 again.

What kind of protein drinks are you going to try?? My husband and I really like Optimum Nutrition whey protein drink. It tastes pretty good. I have tried quite a few and this one tastes great for the price. I did notice my results are a bit better with the drink. I just need to stop eating junk!! Then my results would be a whole lot better..LOL!!

I actually started the rotation yesterday. (I couldn't wait). I haven't done S&H in such a long time - it felt wonderful yesterday. Today I'm just a bit sore, not too bad.

Now if I could just get my eating under control. Darn those sweets!!! }(

Mariángeles- I think I will join you on this forum too.:) I don't have the S&H rotation (yet;))so I am substituting Pure Strength which I haven't pulled out in a while. I am also making a few minor adjustments here and there based on what workouts I have. Great idea-I think I will substitute the 30 minutes run with the hi/low of MIC also.

Well, at least I'm not the only one who has trouble with a sweet tooth - or sweet teeth for that matter:)

Aila - where do you get the Optimum Nutrition whey protein drink? Does it taste like Slim Fast or soy milk, etc.? With all the weight training this month I should up my protein intake.

I too have 5 pounds to lose and I'll keep you posted -maybe we should make that our November challenge-what do you think? Anyone else? Oops-guess I shouldn't have eaten cake for breakfastx( :eek:

Oh, and I KNEW there were wings on their shoes:)

I order it at www.bodyconcept.com. It's the best price there. It's a protein powder and I usually mix it with skim milk. It has 23G of whey protein per scoop(not including the milk). I have tried all the flavors and I like them all. It's really helps me with my sweet tooth too.

I just finished day 1 and am wiped out! S&H chest kills me every time and since I have a very slight carpal tunnel issue, I can't use as heavy a weight as I'd like...but I'm still fried at the end! I'm looking forward to tomorrow. It's always tough for me to work out for more than an hour a day (kids get tired of watching me) but I'm going to really give it me all!

Glad to see I'm not the only who has trouble with "clean" eating. Once I get done with all the Twix and Snickers in my house (I can't throw them away, you know), it'll be a lot easier.
 
Hi everyone, I am doing the November rotation too. Didn't realize how frying your chest can make triceps work harder,LOL!! I will have to substitute some other workouts myself like today I did MIS abs because I don't have ME. But this rotation by far has the most tapes that I own and is more doable for me that any others.

Oh so much motivation to me¡.Annette, You are going to do the november rotation too. Yes.It is my first rotation and seems to be more doable than others.I have a busy life and I can do a rotation that is going to extenuate me.I am felling stupid myself while I am writing this after seeing all the hard work of cathe.I am start thinking cathe is not human don't you think?.:D :D .
 
Cathe's pics for the Hardcore series inspired me to do this rotation. I'll be starting tonight. I'm so glad I replaced all my tapes with DVD's because of the way these workouts are broken up. I just did a S&H rotation a month ago and was glad to see it end, but I guess I can endure it for another 2 weeks. I'm also going to eat as cleanly as possible this month, which will be quite a challenge because we have about 15 bags of unopened Halloween candy lying around! DH went a little overboard and bought 40 bags of candy this year! Anyway, whenever I get the urge to grab a Kit Kat bar I'll think of Cathe's abs! I'm going to have to look into some high protein bars or shakes to curb the old appetite because S&H makes me so hungry!

Yesterday was Legs&Glutes and today was Imax Extreme with my own mini ab marathon.
I threw out all the candy, cupcakes, icecream, etc..You get the picture. I'm going to be ready for HardCore. I don't have the S&H or PS vids so I made up my own rotation this month. I picked weeks from Cathe's past rotation and put made it work with what I've got. So far so good.

My ex came over tonight and was just hanging out.. It was kind of annoying. He was bragging about how he has been working out with an ex-cop etc... So I said oh so your in shape now? "Of course." I said ok. I put in KPC and he just watched it and kept saying "Does she ever stop?" Then I showed him the challenge part of Step Blast b/c I wanted to show him how fun Cathe is. Then Hi/Lo from SJP and the ab/planks. Now mind you I had worked my abs pretty hard on the incline earlier. So I challenged him when he was scoffing at it. He couldn't hold a plank! I kept up with Cathe and did it all. He couldn't do the 15 pulses. He couldn't even hold a crunch. "How can you do that with her? She is a machine." Then he noticed how flat my stomach is. Need I say more. I told him to come over sometime and I'll show him a really workout. I loaned him KPC/LG DVD, he actually asked for it. Maybe there is hope for him yet.
