WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS!

ever since i saw this in mickey blue eyes i've wished i could redo our wedding!

I had Jimmy Buffett (Lone Palm), Dixie Chicks (I believe in Love) and some tunes by Israel Kamakawiwo'ole.

I like the "Imagine" idea!

We had a lot of untraditional music at our wedding. The best part of the night for us and the guests was when DH and I walked out of the reception. Everyone stood and they played "Time of your life" by Greenday. We walked out together waving, bowing and singing, We hope you had the time of your life" It was wonderful.

I love your idea of "To Make You Feel My Love" -- I dedicated this song to my husband at our reception earlier this year!

I thought of a song from Vanessa Williams. It's called "Saved The Best For Last." It's a really pretty song.

Highway to Hell, just kiddin!!! Anita Baker's, "Giving you the best that I got." Or Gino Vannelli's, "I Just Want to Stop."

I love your song ideas.. esp. Imagine! I think its so very cool when a couple has a special song or songs.

If I had to do it over again, I'd probably do a classic Eagles Ballad,...Best of My Love or Love Will Keep us Alive.

Probably nix "Desperado" though! ;)

I love it!

We did our intro's to "Best Around" from Karate Kid. You could see all the lightbulbs go on for the people at our reception once they recognized it.
We also did our cake cutting to Ted Nugent's "Stranglehold". :) It seemed completely inapprpropriate, and that's what my husband and I enjoy.

None of our reception music was the traditional wedding music. In fact, we banned our DJ from playing any of it. No slides of any sort, no Chicken Dance, no Celebrate, Twist, Shout, etc...
We played all 80's hair band music. And to this day, people are still telling us that our reception was the most fun that they've ever been to. Mission accomplished!
