No workouts this week or last, and I am bummed out.

Hello Friends of the Forum.
Last week, the only workout I did was shoveling snow and more snow here and in northern MI. This week, I am been too tired to shovel, or to workout and yesterday, I now am running a temp and supposed to be back in northern MI to finally meet my 9 month old neice from upstate NY. It's going up to the 40s for the remainder of the week and 50's next week so everyone will be carrying some kind of virus here. My cold/fever is under control with meds.
It's great reading what everyone is doing for working out and eating clean as a motivator and encourager so I can't wait to get back into it.
Thanks for allowing me to vent.

Hope you get better soon. You might be pleasantly surprised to see that you didn't lose much in terms of fitness once you get back into a groove again. Be sure to take it a little easy your first few workouts.

Although I wasn't sick I lost all motivation to exercise in February for a couple of weeks. Absolutely nothing appealed to me. We went to Florida for about ten days and I was finally able to get back on track. The weather is really cold here in CT, too. Sometimes I wish I could just get out and walk, but 10 degrees is tooooo cold for me.

I feel your pain - I have stitches in my back and abs from having moles removed and can't work out until next week. I feel like a sloth! I think it's harder to eat right too. Ugh - hang in there!

I have Lyme Disease and haven't worked out since Oct. and don't expect to for at minimum 2 more months so you're way ahead of me. :) I have learned some serious patience here - don't worry you will be back at it soon and when you get annoyed just remember be thankful you're not me. ;)

Hang in there. I've been just getting back into it after two surgeries, and influenza for me and the kids.

You'll be back at it in no time!! I know it's a huge bummer.:-(

Hope you feel better really soon! :)

I hurt my foot last Saturday and can't do much, so I am using this week as a rest week. I haven't dared get on the scale but I am very interested to see how training goes next week with all the talk of how your body needs a week off every 4 months or so. It has been hard not working out; harder mentally.
