No Sweets Week of Sept 30

WOW!!! Can you ladies believe it-it's October. Well, almost. And we are still at it. I need to make an effort to get my eating back on track. It's been better since I've been home, but not as good as I'd like it to be.

This morning I did IMAX2 and PS abs. My legs are still a bit sore from Thursday :eek: Guess I over did it a little *shrugs* I think I may do Core Synergistics tomorrow. Saw a P90X infomercial recently and it has inspired me to pull that one out.

Hello there ladies. Today is rest day #4 for me. My weekend was pretty darn busy and I didn't have time to exercise. I had tons of fun on Saturday (went to a concert then to a really cool place to eat and dance). I am still tired so I decided to rest yet another day and I will continue again tomorrow with my GS low impact rotation for maybe 4-6 weeks. Then I'll need to find or design a new rotation. By the way, I got a new haircut on Friday, everybody likes it, but I don't. I just think they cut way too much (like a foot or so ugh!), it is still long, but not as long. And my diet? lol! I don't even want to talk about it. I didn't bother to weigh myself yesterday, but I'll do it on Thursday. We'll see...

Hey Rose, I am so glad you were doing fun things this weekend!! Do yourself on favor and don't get on the scales till next week. Seriously, I think you'll feel better if you wait :) It feels good to let go and relax every once in a while doesn't it!!

I did CS this evening after helping DH move branches he'd trimmed off the trees to the back yard :eek: I really like this w/o and don't know why it's been so long since I've done it!!

Eating is on track today- thank goodness!!

Hello Ladies. Glad things are going well with you. Rose, you deserved to have a little fun. You have been doing great lately, so just look at it as a minor treat. You always jump right back in there with healthy eating choices and some kick butt workouts. I know you are modifying now, but I know a lot of people who would just become coach potatoes when given an excuse...so I truly admire you.

Fitfairy, moving branches along sounds like a workout to me.

Speaking of working out, I have been on some rest days. I seem to be down to about 3 to 4 workouts a week the last couple of weeks. It is TTOM now and I am determined to get through this week with NO CHOCOLATE! I didn't eat any sweets yesterday. I am not working out this morning, but I am headed to the kitchen to prepare my salad, chicken and fresh fruit for lunch. My eating is pretty good overall, but I know I need to increase my veggie intake a little bit. The holidays are around the corner.
 
Eating was good today also. At least that is something I am feeling really good about lately. NO CHOCOLATE today! Not even a little peppermint patty. Thanks for the cheering.
 
Hey ladies. Today was no rest day. I did a short cardio + GS: BSB + some abs. My diet was good, but it could've been better. Congratulations on staying away from chocolate. I definitely didn't. :p
 
Hump Day-Woo Hoo!! What are you all up to today?

I had no chocolate today, unless you count my protein shake after my w/o. I did PS legs and chinups. Went light on the weights today since my last leg workout practically disabled me for three days }(

Tomorrow's Thursday and after that comes FRIDAY!!!

Hello ladies. Yesterday I couldn't exercise because I had a horrible migraine, but today I did GS Legs. I've been cheating like mad these past few days too! I know I know! I will do something about it asap. Take care.

I did moderate upper body work today followed by SP&J step and abs. My eating has been good this week. Tummy still looks bloated from all of last weeks eating though x( But it was worth it }(

Affirm, I hope your TOM symptoms are better. How's the no chocolate going?

No Chocolate---No Exercise....I guess that is not anything to be cheering about....but I will say my eating habits were really great this week. I got in veggies, fruit and lots of water. I was proud of myself in that area.
 
Affirm, hey at least you are keeping your eating in check. That's tough to do at TTOM!!!

I did heavy legs today. Followed by 20 mins of KM blasts :eek:

Squats 85#: [font size=+1] 6,5,6,6,& 6 [/font] (last week did 5,5,5,5 & 3)
DL 100#: [font size=+1]4x6 [/font](same as last week, need to buy more plates for barbell :7)
Bulgarian Squats : (2) 20# DBs [font size=+1]3x6 [/font](lightened up-was using 25 # and just couldn't balance well- this worked better)
Calf Raises : 100# [font size=+1]2x20 [/font](same-again need more plates for BB)

Skipped Plie squats- just too tired to do them :+

I'm sorry to say that I didn't exercise yesterday and I can't exercise today either. I started using a new medication this week and I got a really bad allergic reaction. My skin is covered in a rash (including my face which is pretty scary) and I haven't been able to sleep for a couple of days. I don't even remember when was the last time I exercised (I think it was on Thursday?, I think!) Of course I was told to stop using the med today and I'm soooo tired. I guess the lack of sleep caught up to me. Hopefully I'll be well rested tomorrow so I can do a little bit of cardio + GS: C&T. On Monday I plan to do Low Max and then on Tuesday I will increase the weights on most of my exercises and I will start GS + low impact all over again. That was my plan for this week, but I ended up exercising only 2 days (darn it!), but I will cross my fingers and hopefully my rash will go away soon and I will rest today so I can get back on track starting tomorrow. I hope my face goes back to normal soon, my 29th birthday is on Wednesday. I don't think I can go out like this. On Friday my boss told me that I looked sick and "go to the doctor asap, see you next week", so yeah I even scared my boss. I had plans with my friends for next Saturday, but we rescheduled for Oct 20th. I guess once I turn 29 I got a whole year to celebrate before I turn 30 lol, so what's a couple more days?

Catherine - I'm glad you're back with your exercise routine after the "lard incident". :7

Affirm - I hope you find time to exercise. Congratulations on not eating chocolate. I had chocolate ice cream today! It's very hard for me to say no to chocolate.
