No sweets week of Oct 28th

:eek: :eek: I can not believe Oct is almost gone. Can you believe that we have been at this for 10 months!! That is awesome!!

Now I wish I could report a decent weekend as far as eating goes, but I can not. I will get better though. Like Affirm said earlier, we are doing good during the week. But I do want to do a bit better on the weekends to.

My workouts have been good. Yesterday I did heavy legs. Today I did BC cardio followed by part of KB cardio. This afternoon I did LIS cardio & abs with some pullups. So I got in two workouts today :eek: Don't know why, just felt like it LOL!!

I am so glad to have you ladies to check in with!! Let's keep it up!!

10 months!!! Way to go ladies! Today I did GS Legs. My weigh-in was good, but could be better. At least the scale moved down a bit because I was getting the same numbers for months. I plan to keep on losing little by little until I reach my goal weight, but it's getting harder and harder. I can't complain because I've lost inches and I've gained tons of definition in areas I never had definition before. I definitely think that I'm in the best shape of my life. Ironically it's when I'm 29 and not when I'm 18. If I could go back in time knowing what I know now! My diet has been great all weekend. I blew it during ttom so I knew I had to get back on track this weekend and I did. Now I have to stay on track.

Hello Ladies. Wow, Rose, I can't believe it has been 10 months. It has definitely been fun checking in with you ladies. I know I have gotten off track many times, but you two always manage to give me a enough courage to go along with my "guilt" to get things together.

Yes, fitfairy, the weekends are rough. I didn't exercise yesterday or this morning, so I have to get up tomorrow morning.
 
Hello ladies. :) Your workouts look great. I miss doing high impact cardio.

I'm skipping my workout today. I have doms and a little bit of back pain so I'm being smart this time around. Tomorrow I'm doing a light cardio, GS: C&T, and maybe some traditional abs (my back will let me know if I'll be okay with ab work or not). Last night I cheated like crazy, I just had a bad day and I used food to comfort me. Bad idea, I know, but I'm letting you know what I did and why. Today I got back on track with my diet. I'm also happy we've been here for all this time. It's great that we have our little group in cyberspace. I feel so guilty when I have to post that I cheated on my diet or that I'm not working out, but it helps me because when the next day comes I know that I don't want to post that I cheated again or that I skipped a workout again. I'm not sure why I feel guilty, but I do, and in a crazy way it has helped me to maintain my weight loss and it's slowly helping me to reach my ideal weight. We rock!
 
You said it Rose- We Rock!!! Sorry to hear your back is bothering you :( Hope it's just a minor set back.

I am actually going to the chiropracter tomorrow for an "adjustment" My back has felt like it's got a catch in it for two weeks. It's hard to explain. It doesn't hurt (expect at night the last two nights)but after sitting when I go to get up it feels like it needs to pop or something. Odd, I know. Workouts don't seem to bother it. The last two nights though whenever I rolled over it really hurt. Enough complaining and whining!!

Eating was good today. I did BC cardio x 1 & 1/2. Pushed too hard on the suicides the second time around and the room was spinning- no kidding. I was a little scared cause DH wasn't home yet. I recovered ok. Need to learn to pace myself LOL!!

Hey Affirm, how ya doing? IMAX 2 is my favorite step routine!! Hope you had fun!!

Rose, you may have done them in gym class. On BC they are modified to fit the home. Traditionally you run to a spot in the gym as quick as you can, run back then run to a spot further out and back,... you do that till you've run the length of the basketball court and back. Since you are doing them in the house you run the length of the workout space grab a weight run back place the wt down, run back pick up another wt, run back, place it down,... I hope I didn't explain that too poorly LOL!! I think you get the picture!!

Suicides....I'll pass. I thought I could barely get through Chest and Triceps. Speaking of that....it has been a while since have done that one.

I do enjoy IMAX2 . It is about as high impact as I can go. I rarely do IMAX3 because of the impact. I love those straddle taps...so much fun.
 
Happy Halloween Ladies!!! Hope the ghouls and gobblins don't get you all today :D I am still on track with eating. My workout today was PS Legs (standing) and chinps. My chinup reps were the same as last week: 7,7,6,5,5,5,4 &4. On that second set of 7 the last rep was done with just 2 fingers from each hand on the bar LOL- I was losing my grip!!

DH is out with the kids trick o treating. Tried to take the doggie, but he wouldn't act right, so he is back home with me passing out candy. I opted for a bowl of ice cream for my trick treat!!Darn it..and I didn't even exercise today.
 
Hi ladies. Wow I don't know about you, but yesterday I couldn't resist and I ate lots of candy. I felt like a kid again (caramels, chocolates, bubble gum, lolly pops, lol! I was bad). I'm glad I got that out of my system because today nobody could convince me to eat any leftover candy. I'll probably be sick of candy until next Halloween. My back was still bothering me yesterday so I did not exercise, but today I *finally* did a short cardio, C&T, and some abs. For some reason when I'm stressed out and I'm not sleeping well my back starts hurting me. I can't explain it, but it happens.

Catherine - My dogs get nervous on Halloween also. I just put them way back in the backyard so they can't see anybody. They were barking like maniacs anyway. :p I think I've done suicides before, but that was waaaaay back in junior high. We didn't call them suicides, but what a fitting name ha ha ha.

Affirm - Imax 2 is a very good workout. I'm also a fan of straddle taps. I loved Imax 3 and before I learned about my back condition I could do it like it was nothing. It probably made my back worse. Oh well, it was fun when I could do it.

Tomorrow is Friday. I won't do weights tomorrow, just a low impact cardio. I'm thinking Low Max.
 
Hey there! Today I did Low Max and it was pretty early. It was a long day today and I am very tired. Now I'm ready to shower, eat something, and crash!

Muscle Max (no abs) for me today! Wow I am beat! lol! My diet has been good so far. I hope it stays that way. Take care ladies. :)
