No Sweets Week of Oct 14th

Fitfairy, I can't believe that Christmas is around the corner. Especially thinking about the bad eating habits that come along with the holidays. My eating has been okay, but exercise is still not back to the level that I want it to be. I have been getting in about 3 short workouts a week lately. Last week was only 2. I tried the evening thing and just couldn't get into it. Too tired, too many evening activities, etc. Meanwhile, I am trying to stay focused somewhat and hang in there.'
 
Well, it seems we need to get back on track either on our diets or on our weekly exercise routines. We're here to support each other so let's just get back to it little by little.

Yesterday I didn't exercise, I went shopping and I walked and walked and walked, you know how that goes. I didn't buy a lot of things, but everything I got was high quality. I bought a dress, three tops, and two Clinique items so I could get the gift with purchase (that one was at Macy's). Everything I got was on sale. The dress and two of the tops are 100% silk, also the dress is fully lined and it's fitted to the body (except for the a line at the bottom) as opposed to those unflattering maternity looking clothes that are out there. It's so funny that sometimes clothes look really odd on the hangers and then you try them on and you just must get them. My closets are almost empty since I gave a lot of clothes that don't fit me anymore to charity (many of them with tags on). Now I have to get a new wardrobe and the budget is tight this time around so I have to go to the higher end stores and find the sales racks so I can have nice quality clothes at bargain prices. As long as I go with someone to help me hunt (and I did!) I can always find a thing or two. Then when I got home I had a free shipping coupon from an online store and I got a new pair of trousers. I'm building a new wardrobe slowly but surely. Hey I can't complain because I've been working hard for almost two years to lose all this weight. :)

Today I have a migraine (TTOM is near and it's always like that with my PMDD) so I decided to rest another day. Tomorrow I'll do a short cardio + GS C&T + a short ab session. Yes, the Holidays are right around the corner, but we've been strong since January. I think that we won't blow it this time.
 
Affirm, you are hanging in there!! At least you are doing something. I admire your commitment. Keep it up and you'll be back into the swing of things!!

Rose, I want to see pics of the new clothes!! How exciting buying new clothes in a smaller size :D I hope your headache is better.

Eating was good today for me. I did heavy upper body.

[i font size=+2]Biceps:[/i][/font] 22.5 DBs 6,6,6& 5 (last week same wt 5,5,5, & 4- so better)

Overall pretty happy with that!!

Well Catherine I did pretty much the exact same workout (KPC cardio through the high intensity drills modifying the impact on some moves) but I skipped the abs. I was too tired to do C&T + abs so I will try again tomorrow.

Today I did a really short cardio + GS: C&T (no warm-up) + a short ab session. I was short on time, but I exercised first thing in the morning. It's not my favorite time to workout but since TTOM is approaching when I get back from work I'm really tired and then I don't want to exercise. So I woke up a little bit earlier to exercise and get it over with.

Kickmax is not one of my favorites either, although I really like the leg conditioning drills at the end. The only premix I do often is the one that skips the high impact drills in the middle and does the kick/punch combos and the leg conditioning drills (I think it's called low impact premix or something like that). I'm glad you got inspired Affirm.

Catherine, what did you do today? :)
 
Catherine, I did not preorder because I can't do high impact cardio and it only has one low impact workout, but I am waiting for the next weight training series. If I'm not mistaken they're going to film those next? I think I read that somewhere. I will definitely preorder those. I hope you enjoy the new workouts and let us know how much you like them after you preview them. Today I didn't wake up early to exercise and when I came back from work I was too tired. I will definitely try to workout tomorrow no matter what. Low Max is on schedule.
 
I didn't pre-order the workouts. There are other older workouts that I am interested in, but right now I need to use the ones that I have more often HAHAHA.

Body Max 2 cardio portion today as it is truly one of my favorites.
 
I absolutely love BM2 cardio. The music really gets me going!!

I did the 4DS Back & Biceps premix then the Chest, Shoulders and Triceps premix. Can you say fried upper body. We got new windows yesterday. So I have been busy washing windows today. I am exhausted again. I still have two windows to wash :( Was hoping to stick in some cardio this evening, but right now am thinking NOT!!!

Hey ladies. Today I did Low Max on an 8" step; always a tough workout. I wonder how many calories I burn when I do it. Probably lots.:D

Affirm - I also love BM2. I should try the step portion one of these days. I really miss that workout.

Catherine - I'm glad you're enjoying the new workouts. I am a little bummed out that I didn't get them, but I can't do them this time around. However, I already have my money saved for the next presale.
