Has this not been started yet? I looked but couldn't find it so forgive me if I overlooked it!:)

On to my second day.I think some were confused as to what we would count as sweets and how sticky (pardon the pun;) ) we were going to be.
For me, its just the cakes, cookies, candy, ice cream. The little bit of sugar in my coffee or the sugar in my yogurt doesn't bother me.Its the endless picking at sweets in the cupboard...thats my problem. So I guess if we all know our "own" problem areas then you go from there. And each one of us knows what needs to be fixed in our diets so you set your own goals:) How does that sound?

Anyway,I am enjoying my coffee and then I am going to get my run over with for the day.I have alot to do and not enough hours in the day!

I ended up eating a little ice cream last night! Argh. Ah, well, today is another day and now that the stuff is out of the house, I should be good. One hopes. :)

Great day, all!

I'm doing well so far. No sweets yesterday and none today...so far. It was hard to watch my DH eat a low fat ice cream sandwich yesterday after dinner, but I just left the room to read my book.

I didn't have any baklava last night. Let's see if I can make it through today as successfully.

No sweets are planned for the day. However, it IS Friday, and my mother is a baking fool. But I need to go straight home and do Imax 1 tonight, so I think I can bypass the parents' house, even though I walk right past it on my way to the barn. I am leaving this weekend open and will allow myself ONE dessert if the dear mother felt the urge to bake.

Last night I got lucky. I had an eating urge, but there was no junk in the house. I spread a breakfast cookie (these are healthy cookies!!!) with PB. High calories, I'm sure, but there's no way I'm classifying PB, oatmeal and applesauce as dessert, no matter how good it tastes.

I'm not proud. Hi, my name is Melody, and I ate chocolate last night. This is desperate: Looked for chocolate in the house late last night and I could only find a container of Hershey's cocoa powder and the kids' Hershey's syrup in fridge. I toasted a piece of stone ground ww bread and smothered it with the Hershey's syrup. It was actually delicious.:9

I'm admitting that I have to have one little sweet treat per day or I'll go for a BIG one, so guess I'd better not mar this thread with my check-ins.

:)

Thank goodness I got on here earlier and couldn't find our check in. So I am chekin in and checkin out I have had nothing today day #2 YEAH!!!! For me this is like history in the making. My hubby thinks I am nuts coming from someone that has 1 quart of ice cram with a dozen of cookies, cake or pie every night before bed he is 34 and skinny as a rail and he has done this for almost 8 years we will be married in November. I am jealous i will admit! See you all tomorrow!

So far so good for me as well! Thankfully, if we don't have ice cream in the house or cookies, there's usually nothing else really "desserty" unless I bake something (...which I have done, just not since I'm trying to cut out sugar!) I made a breakfast cookie this morning, didn't have any applesause or stevia powder, so I used apple juice and it still got good! (those are amazing cookies, I was s-t-u-f-f-e-d after eating it!)

So, good for day #2. *crossing fingers*
