No sweets - Last week of January

I started my morning with the cardio premix of Drill Max. Wow, I love that workout. I had a sweet bagel from Panera Bread for breakfast. I decided to pick up bagels for the office today as a treat. I love Panera's cinnamon bagel. It was sooo delicious. I found myself wanting something else sweet, but I didn't. I have to learn to resist the cravings after I have had something. I had chicken salad over a toss salad for lunch. It is also that TOM again.

Rose, I definitely don't like getting up at 4:00, but it is the only time. I have to leave home by 7:00 to drop off the kids and then drive an hour to work. So, that leaves me no choice. I am an educator so I get to stay home during the summer. Guess what, even during the summer I get up early to exercise, just not as early. I usually exercise around 5:30 during the summer and I really enjoy that. That is why it is hard for me to get back into the really early routine of 4:00 when the school year starts again.

I am glad it is February. You ladies do some long and intense workouts and I truly admire you for that.
 
Hey ladies! I'm doing a quick pop-in! :7 Yesterday I was going to skip yet another workout and I thought wow I won't have the nerve to come back and post in the check in that I missed a workout again! So I did the warm up and blasts of kickmax followed by abs and some legwork with weights. I felt great after I was done. I'm like you Catherine. I normally don't have enough time to workout during the week so I make up for lost time from Friday to Sunday. My workouts tend to get longer because I take breaks to stretch (I have joint problems so I have to do this) so they run at least 60 mins or so. When I'm done with my PS rotation I think I'll start a CTX rotation for 2 weeks to "rest" a bit.

By the way I had some cake and ice cream yesterday for my mom's 69th birthday. I just had to eat some and not be a party pooper. But it was a small slice (about 3/4") and I had just one scoop of ice cream. I was satisfied with that. Last year I would've gotten a much bigger slice with way more ice cream and I would've probably gotten a second serving. I think my brain is learning to get satisfied with just a couple of bites. That's good I think.

Rose, good for you for getting in that workout!! It helps me to think about telling others well, I didn't workout again,.... OK so move your butt and just do it! Well, it works most of the time. And isn't it amazing how much better you feel afterwards?

Today I had a nice big salad for lunch and I just now finished my treat- tiramisu!!! It was YUMMY!!

I did S&H triceps and biceps this morn and may do some cardio later. Probably should to get rid of those extra calories!!

DH is making chili so I know what I'll be eating later!!
