NKOTB - I can't belive I'm thinking of doing this....

I saw the newly reunited New Kids on the Block on the Today show last Friday and it brought back some fond memories. Then out of sheer curiosity I got online today and found out they are coming to my area (Omaha, NE) on tour this fall. I can't believe it, but I actually have thoughts in the back of mind of going - am i crazy?!

Everything comes back around again....first I see one of my favorite shows from the nineties, American Gladiators, is back on (although I don't think near as good as the original), then George Michael goes on tour after being in hiding for years, now New Kids come back after 15+ years. I feel like I am a preteen again! :)

Am I absolutely out of my mind for even contemplating the thought of going?! Talk me out of it! :D
 
Oh I'm DEFINITELY going :). I wish they'd announce a date in Northern CA already, so I'm holding tight (they announced a date in San Diego, so I'm hoping this means a Bay Area show soon), but I'm for sure going once they announce :).
 
OMG - I remember going to one of their concerts when I was like 10 years old and sitting on my dad's shoulders just to see the stage!!
 
Yep, I'm absolutely going!
They were my first concert, and from the new songs that I've listened to, I actually like them!

They just added 2 shows here in Chicago because the first one sold out so fast.

Now I just have to see if I can find my original t-shirts and giant Joey pin!:p

You should definitely go. I'm going to see Iron Maiden this year (and they're WAY older than the New Kids :p ), only this time my 13 year old daughter will be attending with me. How bizarre is that?!

Both of my girls love the music their father and I listened to back in the 80s.
