Nintendo DS lite game suggestion for 8 yr old girl

Planning to overindulge. Completely clueless about this toy. What games are popular with 8 yr old girls?

Cake Mania and Harvest Moon....Loads of fun...even for adults:7

ETA: Target has a girls bundle package that come with a DS Lite and about 3 girly games.

My 8 year old daughter despises anything girly. She's into Super Mario Brothers and Sonic games.

The Petz games: dogz, catz, dolphinz etc. they have puzzles and neat stuff my almost 10 yr old has them plus the Pokemon games although she does like to play with my brain age game too lol

I'd recommend Nintendogs if she's at all into animals. It's really cute, you can choose your puppies then groom them, take them for walks, train them, teach them tricks, and enter them into competitions.

Hi: My daughter just turned 11 and her favorites have always been the petz games..She loves the Catz, Dogz, horsez..Nintendodgoz is a good one too. She also likes deal or no deal and spirit.
