Hi,

I am a "new Cathe fanatic", I had used the Firm for about 5 years, but after visiting this forum on advice from the Firm website I decided to try Cathe and I love the intensity. I started out with cardio fusion, and now I am using the Lo Max. I cannot believe the difference. What would be my next logical choice for my collection. I would like to for right now stay with the cardio workouts.
I would appreciate any advice,

Thanks,

Kristine

How do you find the intensity to be on these videos? Are they right where you want to be? If so, I'd say Imax3.

I like Imax2 and Step Blast, but those workouts are combined with circuit workouts.

I agree that IMAX 3 would be a good addition or you could try the Rhythmic Step+ DVD which has Interval Max ("IMAX 1"), Maximum Intensity Cardio and Rhythmic Step (my favorite cardio workout). These are 3 great cardio workouts. I would put IMAX 1 at almost the same intensity as IMAX 3 although it has more athletic choreography. MIC hi/lo is really tough although I don't find the step portion that difficult and Rhythmic Step is Cathe's most complex choreography. MIC also has athletic choreography.

I find Cardio Fusion to be a good dvd for days when I want medium intensity, but Lo Max is still very, very challenging, I would like another DVD like that, but a little different in the steps or time to mix it up....

Honestly, I think your best bet is IMAX2. This one is a similar format to Low-Max BUT very challenging and the fun factor is incredibly high. Another good choice for you (and something non-step) would be Kick, Punch, and Crunch (KPC). This is Cathe's best kickboxing workout and loads of fun. It comes with Legs & Glutes and includes a boatload of premixes.

Good luck!!

Thanks so much, I am going to try the IMAX2 and the Kick, Punch, and Crunch, that way I can alternate. Appreciate the advice,

Kristine

Hi,

Imax 2 is combined with Cardio & Weights all on one DVD. Maybe that is why you ask! Also, Imax 2 is a great pick. I did not like it at first because it did not have enough step coreography as Rythmic Step (which is waht I was looking for), but now I love the workout. Also, the step segment on Cardio & Weights is one of my favs. I always do the step premix so I can do all the cardio at once. IT is chalk full of fun moves. I only wish it lasted longer than a half hour. Good luck!
