News about Janis Saffell

Well, I've been waiting to get onto the VF forum but with no luck so I can't wait! I had to tell you that I got Janis Saffell's newsletter and she is now a FILA representator and she will be coming out with new clothing and some new video's made my FILA. I checked out her web site but there is nothing said about the new video's. This is new stuff!!

Also the Firm will be coming out with their new Basic tapes with some new instructors.

But I know you all are anxiously waiting Cathe's new tapes most of all!!! Like me!!! Advanced great workouts!

Oh No, Mandy!

The Firm's latest "Basics" videos are of no interest to me. The Firm needs to get back on target and film for more advanced exercisers. They've had an identity crisis and things have been bad for the Firm since they signed with BMG.

I am so disappointed to learn that they've nothing new to offer the advanced exercisers. I think the latest Basics you are speaking of were filmed two or three years ago and have Summer Sparkman and Robin Johnson as two of the leads. I love Summer and Robin and have met them both as instructors. They would have been better utilized in more advanced videos for people like me who are "Firm Believers" and long-time Firm fans.

Good news for me!

I really am excited about the new Basic series, I have PP and the original Basics; but I just found out I'm pregnant and I think these will be great to have.

Stephanie: I like Prime Power Too

I really like Prime Power -- I got sort of fond of that jungle set! You know, those are a couple of videos that I haven't done in years!

This evening I did "Hare" -- it was fun to do a video that I hadn't done for a while. I do "Tough Tape" which is a compilation of Tortoise and Hare, but haven't done "Hare" in years --

Congratulations on your wonderful news of being pregnant -- I think that the "Basics" would really good for out of shape exercisers, those recovering from an illness or surgery, or for the pregnant or post-partum. I bought the "Basics" when they came out simply because I'm a Firm junkie

I guess I am just so missing a really challenging, new Firm workout for the advanced exerciser. I am so scared the Firm will never film again ):

I hope they use new footage too some time soon! I LOVE the jungle set too! I'm also a FIRM junkie, I dislike the ballroom aerobics in both Tortoise and Hare, but had to get the parts tape so that's how nuts I am.
