New VHS order and rotation

I just ordered Cross Train Xpress on VHS and I know it is a complete rotation on its own. I'm wondering if it would be good to add it into my next rotation of timesaver one week and PUB and PLB for 2 weeks.? Maybe do one week timesaver one of PUBand PLB and one week Cross Train. Still new to the rotations and any imput would be great. I thought I was done ordering till Nov. but couldn't pass up a bargain. Thanks Deanie:)

Hi, just a comment:

Alternating weeks of Timesaver and CTX is fine (remember that Timesaver has 5 workouts whereas CTX has six). However, with PUB/PLB there is no cardio. You may have structured it like that deliberately: to have one-two weeks exclusively devoted to strength work. However, if you didn't mean that, you'll need to stick some other cardio into your PUB / PLB weeks.

For VHS purchases, any of Cathe's step routines is great. Also consider getting Maximum Intensity Cardio (MIC) on VHS if you're willing to get some more hi/lo as well as step. And also consider Kick Punch Crunch . . . and Cardio Kicks . . . and Boot Camp . . .

Thanks A-Jock, I am going to alternate cardio with PUB and PLB. I went wild with the vhs sale and got CTX series, Rythm step, cardio kicks, circuit max and interval step- then my pocketbook stopped me!!:) (I already have BB series and intensity series, low max and PH and HSTA and cardio hits) I am trying to expand my Cathe workouts so I can do more of her posted rotations. I really like the variety. So my next rotation is going to be:
week one: timesaver from BB series
week two:
PUB
cardio
PLB
cardio
off
PUB
PLB
cardio
week 3: CTX series
and then 3 weeks alternating cardio and ME and PH.
The reason I'm doing this rotation is because of variety and also I've always done a full body workout on weight days and want to try the split routine. So what do you think? If this looks good I think I'm going to start next week. Thanks, Deanie

Looks good to me. Unless I've miscounted, it looks like you've got an 8-day week for your PLB/PUB split. Were you planning on doing both PLB and PUP on one day as an extra challenge?

A-Jock

OH! You're right! I did do an 8 day week. I didn't mean to do that. I guess on day 5 with PUB, I'll do Imax 2 intervals 1-5. I don't think I could do PLB&PUB on the same day. Too much lifting and I need my body to function- you know, eat, walk, drive, get dressed. (LOL):)Thanks for answering my question. You are like the guru of rotations!:) Have a good one. Deanie
