Thanks for the welcome, everyone! Honeybunch, I'm going to e-mail you if you don't mind. DH is a physical therapist and personal trainer and a golf nut who's taken several CEU courses in specialty rehab, strength and conditioning for golfers. Maybe we can compare notes?

To all others who read this thread: Maribeth is a wizard - master's degree in exercise science (or something thereto), certified personal trainer and licensed physical therapist, and chock-full of wisdom that doesn't bow down to the flavor-of-the-month junk you see on so many dot-com forums! All the good answers I've ever given here have come from here!
