new to cathe

Hey there,
I'm looking for a little more cardio and intensity to my work out regiment. I am currently doing a blend of cardio and strength and though I love weights I feel like I need wee more cardio. I have heard great things about cathe, however, since there are several dvd's to choose from I don't know where to start. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Kate,

What kind of cardio are you looking for? Cathe has lots of step workouts to choose from, some of them higher intensity than others, all of them powerful and challenging. If you're a beginner, you might want to check out Cathe's older workouts in the Classics DVD (Step Jam, Step Heat, Step Max). The routines are simpler to follow. If you're an advanced stepper but new to Cathe, check out Power Max, Step Fit, Step Works -- all in the Cardio Hits DVD. If you're into ciruit training, you might like Cardio and Weights, Circuit Max and Body Max. Rythmic Step is a "dancey" workout with a lot of material to learn. IMAX 1 and IMAX 2 are interval step workouts that will leave you breathless, but I love them the most as they have helped me develop good cardio endurance. The CTX series has a little bit of everything -- step, floor aerobics, hi/lo, kickboxing and weight training. It really all depends on what your fitness goals are. I suggest that you view Cathe's workouts before you buy. I'm certain that you'll find something you'll like and that you'll be coming back for more, like so many of us. :)

Well, depending on your fitness level you might want to try Cathe's MIC workout. Although floor workout looks easy it is one killer workout that makes me burn every time!

The other cardio workout I absolutely enjoy and burns most calories for me (last count = 600 calories in 1 hr) is Rhythmic Step. It's fun, it's dancie (but not too dancie, you can pick up the steps in no time) and it's a high energy workout for me. I do RS 3 times per week now - I just love the choreography - it just makes me wanna do more!!

buy them all}( i love the dvd's because with thechaptering, you can even take a circut tape and weed out the strength portion to design cardio. i LOVE LOVE LOVE imax2, powermax, mic,bootcamp,cardio kicks! remember this website has 10 minute previews!!
