New to Cathe DVD's/next best dvd to purchase

Hi,
I recently discovered Cathe when I purchased the home step and mini step late December. Both steps came with Dvd's (High Circuit Step and Body Fusion/Basic Step). Since then, I have become addicted to Cathe's w/o's and purchased Butts and Guts, Muscle Max, Timesaver, Bootcamp and Muscle Endurance, and Drill Max. I'm looking at buying a couple more and would like some suggestions. I currently run 4-6 miles/or elliptical 3x a week, and rotate between the Cathe Dvd's I mentioned, Jari Love , and Taebo everyday. I'm not really into step aerobics (I have two left feet), but enjoyed the Body Fustion since it was pretty basic for me to master the step portion. I have tried some of the step workouts in the Timesaver dvd and found that some are complex for me-takes forever to get the moves down. What should I purchase next for total body strength/cardio improvement? I'm really excited to try another Cathe w/o- all have been so great!!! :)

Well, I'm not a big cardio girl anymore because I finally got real results when I began focusing more on weightlifting. I guess that makes me a weights girl. If you're looking to build strength and improve your muscle/fat ratio I can tell you what I'm doing. I'm a huge believer in the Gym Style 3-day split workouts from the Hardcore series, which consists of :

1) Gym Style Back, Shoulders & Biceps (GSBSB),
2) Gym Style Legs (GSL) and
3) Gym Style Chest & Triceps (GSCT).

For a long time I did just this series, each workout once per week, squeezing in a few short treadmill runs every week and saw much better results than I ever got doing cardio/circuit. But I've since made some adjustments. I still do GSBSB and GSCT once per week but now I do legs twice a week (GSL and, at present Butts & Gutts) and I've begun to do core workouts three times per week (The Gutts part of B&G and routines from Core Max). My upper body had been coming along fine but I just felt I needed more leg work and my core was being cheated. Just make sure to allow at least 24 hours rest between body parts worked (some say 48 hours rest is even better). Also, I'll integrate other workouts in the future. The Slow and Heavy and Pyramid workouts get a lot of praise here so I'll likely work those in soon.

Although I'm not a cardio nut I can tell you if you want another cardio routine that's not super-complex but will get you a solid workout with less impact, Low Max is excellent.

Good luck :)

Thanks so much for your response. I think I will be purchasing the Gym Style Series. Seems like a lot of people on this forum really like GS. I'll probably give Low Max a try too. The DVD's are a bit pricey, but well worth it! Thanks again :)
