New here and want to get some videos

Hi Everyone,
I am new here, just found this site and am really interested. Just a quick history. I have 4 little children(5,3,2&1). After a miscarriage in March I decided that I wanted to improve my body and get back in shape. I went from about 153lbs to now 125lbs (I'm 5'2") using p90X and TurboJam at home, run intervals 2-3x/week, and have stationary bike and elliptical as well. Loved Turbo so much that I am waiting to see if I passed my certification and will be teaching a class at my local rec center! Recently I also began going to a spinning class once a week. I would ideally like to get my group fitness certification and a spin certification in the future. So anyway, I feel that I am pretty fit right now and am really looking for some more challenging home workouts.
Could I get some reccomendations on some really challenging cardio(would like to try step) and some really challenging weight workouts from cathe? Does she sell any "bundles"-I will explore more on the site but would like any info you could give me. Thanks so much and this is a great site!
Shannon

Hi and welcome. Yes Cathe sells bundles. I think BodyMax 2 is a really challenging DVD and Drill Max too. Have you tried step before?
If not, you might have to stop a rewind some before you get the hang of Cathe's choreography. I know that Cathe has a basic step and I think it's called Body Fusion? Anyway, when I started Cathe they were not challenging enough for me. I just kept picking up the steps from the harder ones. One day it just clicks! HTH

Thanks LD. So you think that Cathe's videos overall weren't challenging enough for you or was it just a particular one? I may just start with the step bundle where you get the step and the three videos. I used to do step ages ago-before I had kids-so I figure that I may need to start a little basic just to learn the choreagraphy. The weight training/sculpting video previews looked challenging though. Thanks again!

Shannon,

Welcome to the world of Cathe! You can't go wrong with any or her workouts.

I just wanted to say I'm sorry about your recent miscarriage. :(

Hi Shannon,

Welcome to Catheland. I too am sorry about your miscarriage. IMO, Cathe's most intense cardio is Maximum Intensity Cardio (MIC). It is half hi/lo and half step (she does it on 8"). All of her IMAXes are also very challenging (3 being the toughest, 1 (Interval Max) coming in a close second and 2 the easiest (but still a very challenging workout.) I'm sure you'll enjoy any of them. MIC and Interval Max are on the same DVD (Rhythmic Step +). The outfits and hairstyles are a little dated but they are great workouts. Rhythmic Step is my favorite and has Cathe's most complex choroegraphy. MIC and Interval MAX have more athletic choreography.

Debbie and Marcy,
Thanks for the kind words, it was very sad but thankfully(and I truly mean this) I have a wonderful husband and 4 beautiful little ones that helped me through the miscarriage. Thank you also for the advice. Just watching the previews of the videos is really getting me psyched up to get them. Still haven't decided on what I will get yet but so far all of them look fantastic! I have been really happy with my results doing P90X and Turbo but am looking for something really new and as challenging(if not more challenging!)--I think this will be it! Thanks again,
Shannon

Hi Shannon,

I wanted to welcome you to this forum. Your family sounds wonderful; what love & strength a family can give to one another.

Well, there are so many good choices it is hard to narrow things down.

I really can't tear myself away from the Hardcore series but I'm going to steer you to also make some selections from the Intensity and Body Blast Series'. If the clips look good to you, you might as well go for a bundle because it'll save you money in the long run.

Again, welcome :7

Thanks Jordan,
I am actually looking at the Blast series! I love that the clips are available to preview, it really helps. Thanks again,
Shannon
