Hey Everyone
So I just picked up the book and am still in the beginning chapters... EOE that is. I am hoping that he gets into solutions to the problem soon. As person with celiac disease and lactose intolerance alot of the restaurant food and processed food out there are off limits to me. I was thinking about the responses that he was talking about with pleasure that we get from eating certain sugar/fat/salt foods. I obviously may get a short term pleasure from eating something with wheat but then I get alot of "displeasure" for a long time after. I have not trouble avoiding wheat products. I could sit infront of a plate of cookies and not have one inclination towards them. Milk products don't make me as sick so I might have a nibble of something if it looks really good. The odd thing is that yes I have lost weight as a result of the celiac and lactose intolerance but I still crave salty food and of course I can still bake and make homemade cookies that are gluten free. I still have the same response to those. I am very interested in what solutions he offers.
