I've been hearing about Cathe's workouts for over a year now and finally decided to take the plunge. So far I've done Pyramid Lower and Upper. LOVED these workouts! I did Lower on Friday and Upper on Saturday, and my muscles are still sore! I have a problem however...which DVD to order next! Anyway, just wanted to say hello to everyone! :)

Welcome! It's about time you "showed up" at the forums!

Get ready to spend some $$$ ....You did ask us for recommendations, right?

Let us know what your goals are and what is your preferred type of workout so that we may best direct you. Or, you can order the CTX DVD and experience a little bit of everything. It is a really good DVD for starters!

Blessings from our home to yours...Runathon http://www.handykult.de/plaudersmilies.de/lach.gif[/img]

Hi Donna, welcome to the board. Many ladies on this board love Cathe's entire Intensity Series. It really does take you to the next level, as it promises. Which DVD you want next will depend on your fitness goals. If you like stepping, you might like Cardio Hits and Rhythmic Step. If you're into strength training mostly, Pure Strength, Slow & Heavy, and Power Hour would be good. If you like to do a combination of both and time is a great concern to you, you might consider the CTX series. There are lots of wonderful options, I can't mention them all. You can view a sample of the workouts before you buy. This helped me in making decisions before I found out this site has a great forum, because stupid me, I just didn't pay attention and went straight ahead to the catalog section of the web site.:) Good luck with your program.

Thank you for the welcome! I am 48 years old and have lost 40 pounds in the last year by exercising with the Firm and by eating healthier. Over the last year I have gained a lot of strength, but don't feel as though I've advanced as far as I can and of course I still have a lot of body fat to get rid of. So my main goal is to build nice lean muscle. CTX is one of the ones I've been looking at! Thanks for your recommendation and all recommendations are very welcome! :)

HA! Thanks Pinky...I did the same thing. I've been visiting Cathe's site for a while, but always go to the Catalog section. Just decided today to come to the forum. You mentioned the other three series that I was looking at. I'm not sure if I'm ready for her stepping workouts yet, LOL! I am extremely uncoordinated! :D

Donna,

Congrats on your weight loss. I am 45 years old and started Firming in May 2002. Don't know what I lost in pounds but went from a tight 10 to a size 6 in about 9 months. I haven't gotten any smaller since than. I wanted to up the workout a little so I decided to try Cathe. I purchased the CTX on DVD and started using it last week. I love it. The planks in two of the workouts are tough. I have never felt it in my abs the day following a workout like I have after those workouts.
