New cardio DVDs for me!!!

I poke around at deepdiscount.com now and then and they had some Amy Bento's today. I picked up ASC2 and In the Ring. $25 for both, inc tax and free shipping. I have her ASC which I like, but was a bear to learn and Kickbox Extreme, which is different than Cathe KB, but I like it. So, I'm getting 2 new cardios for $25. Not bad. I can see the look on DH's face now, seeing as 41 STS DVDs just showed up about 3 wks ago. "But honey," I can say, "these are cardio, not weights." Now to wait for the mailman. Maybe they'll show up in time for my STS off week. Its the week after next, and shipping was supposed to be 5-10 days (hey, its free). Then I'll have something new to play with that week.

Not to mention the fact that the 41 dvd's were really ONE workout system. I mean, you can't help it that perfection costs!

I really enjoy ASC2...it took me a couple tries to get the moves down. I had to take one combo at a time...more than I did in ASC1 or ASC3. I could never get Kickbox Extreme. I prefer In The Ring and Rumble. I am sure you will LOVE ITR. The med ball intervals are tough but really doable and great!

Right there with ya. I got Bento's Hi/Lo Extreme, Hi/Lo Knockout, Hi/Lo Cardio Pump and In The Ring. Not to mention that someone recently gifted me with Barry's Boot Camp. DH has learned to simply shake his head and chuckle.

I'm getting into Bento's floor cardio in a big way. I really like her 2-minute intervals in "A-Team Boot Camp" and her one-minute intervals in "Hi/Lo Dome Challenge"; I created a custom DVD mish-mosh of her intervals from Hi/Lo Xtreme, Hi/Lo Knockout, A-Team BC and Hi/Lo Dome and did that this past Wed. and I was dyin' then skyin'. Probably on a par with Cathe in terms of intensity, which is very hard to find!

I'm right there with ya on new cardio. I bought a few of Cathe's older step workouts(I'm trying to learn Cathe's stepping style) and Ilaria's latest kickboxing workouts.

I think STS doesn't count really. You can tell DH you bought that over a year ago. So, that is an old purchase.

Not to highjack the thread, but I found some of her stuff on netflix. So, you can try it out before you decide to buy it. I was pleasantly surprised with that!
