New Babies & Babies To Be--- Nov 22nd

Hey ladies! Hope everyone had a great turkey day! We had a rough night with James the night before but last night was awesome. He woke up every three hours to eat and went back to sleep within thirty minutes. We must've worn him out with all the festivities. :) He is so much fun and I finally feel we are getting into some sort of groove with him.

Liann- Your little one looks adorable! Thanks for the pic! I am so happy that the appointment went well.

Melanie- I have been thinking about your question all morning and I have no idea which workout I am going to do first. I want to them all! I think I am going to walk on TM today to see how the "lower area" feels and then maybe try GS Back, Shoulders and Bi's with some light weights. How are you feeling? SO happy that you are home with your family!

Susan- HUGS! I hope everything is okay with your family. We will always be here when you come back!

Congratulations Kelli on the girl! How exciting!

Hi Denise! Hi Priscila! Waves to all the new mommies and preggo gals!

Great u/s Amber!! I bet you are relieved now? I never got a wave!!! Way to go!!!!

No workouts for me yet, I have such a heavy flow. I did weigh myself this AM though & have 30 pounds to lose. *YIKES* Of course, I feel skinny after carrying the twins. LOL

The girls are still jaundice. We'll be bringing home a billi-blanket for Myranda to lay in until our pediatrician appt on Monday. Both girls gained weight since Wednesday.)

The girls eat every 3 hours, with a pumping session afterwards. It takes roughly 90 minutes to do the cycle...which means we get to sleep in 90 minute blocks if the girls sleep well. About every 3 days or so I get wiped out.

Waves to all!

Tuesday I'll have my platelets & hemoglobin checked. I'm praying that I'm normalizing so I don't have to make a big deal about the platelet issue. I"m so ready to put that behind me!!

breastfeeding

Hello ladies, I'm still here. Today is my last day of work, I am so happy! Due date Dec. 23rd. I am planning to breastfeed but it seems so hard for me to do that when I start working. Based on my experience with my 2 girls. How often should I pump at work, if I'll be working full time?

I pumped every 4 hours when I was at work (my kiddos were 12 weeks when I returned to work). I included drive time...so I pumped every 3 hours while at work. I was successful with last two kids....nursing way past the one year mark. It is suggested that you start to pump after your feedings for a couple weeks before you return to work to help build your milk supply up. :)

Ahhhhhhh. Still bleeding heavy & have soreness. I don't see any workouts in near future. :( With my last one I started at 3 weeks (girls are 16 days old now) but I never bled so heavy? Urgh. Jen has your bleeding stopped?

buneknek- I've started pumping already and have been building a stash in the freezer for when I go back to work. It seemed really overwhelming at first but I think I have gotten the hang of it. I let James nurse as long as he needs to and then pump for about 5-10 min after. I plan on pumping every three or four hours at work if time allows. I'm able to pump about 1.5-2 oz after James is finished.

Melanie- Not really bleeding but some yellowy-orange stuff. I bled for about two weeks and then it started to taper off.

Thank you Melanie & Jen that gives me more idea how to do it. I work as a Physical Therapist in Acute Hospital & we get very busy, but I know I just need to take a break & do it!
I weigh myself this am & guess what girls? I gained 5 lbs in 1 week! How did that happened? Oh I forgot I stuffed myself for the last 2 days. I throw away all the left overs & did Jari Chiseled this am.
