New and looking for rotation suggestions.

I received my first Cathe video's (HC Stretch and Gym Style Legs) a few days ago. I've only done two of the stretch workouts (which I loved) because I worked out at the gym. I'm already getting obsessed with Cathe's workouts and have ordered the other two Gym Style, Kick Max, and Pyramid Upper & Lower, as well as Killer Butt per Jadore's recommendation. I'm not crazy about step workouts and usually hop on my Stairmaster for cardio. I like weight training and thought I might use the Gym Style workouts and Pyramid Upper & Lower in the same week. Would that be okay? Could someone help me with some rotations? I'm willing to order more if someone feels strongly about adding other workouts. (I'm already wishing I'd ordered Muscle Max and Core Max.)

Another question... Is there any place I can look that would help me with all these abbreviations? It's overwhelming to a newbie. Oh I know, I could just figure it out, but I'm lazy and saving all my energy for the workouts! LOL.

I am not nearly as knowledgable as lots of the ladies here are but I hate to see a post go unanswered so I'll tell you what little I know and then hopefully someone else will see the post and add to what I have told you! :)

As long as you give each muscle group appropriate rest between working them, you can do those weight work outs in the same week. The gym styles are easy because they separate out the body parts by dvd so you can essentially do those dvds back to back until they are completed. I believe appropriate rest time for a muscle group is 48 hours. That should help you.

Also, when setting up a rotation, don't feel like you have to do the same thing every week....focus on the gym styles one week, then do the pyramids the next and alternate like that...or mix up a couple of the gym styles with a pyramid work out one week and then do the other pyramid and gym styles the next. There are many ways to work it....

BTW-if you use the mix and match option on the pyramids, you can do as many or as few body parts as you wish in your work out(s) also.

HTH atleast a TINY bit. :)

Have a great work out!

Hi,

If you go to the VIDEO and DVD Forum I added a post under the thread that is pinned to the top, The ultimate guide to Cathe workouts. In this post I attempted to list the abbreviations for you.
