Hi! I have a great idea for you, in my opinion! Go to Collagevideo.com and order Gin Miller's circuit challenge. She performs the aerobics on a step, but if you don't have one you can use the floor. The weight work uses light dumbells (probably 5 and 8 lbs to start you off.) This will be the perfect tape for you, especially if you arent' used to stepping. It is pretty basic choreography, and you can stop after 10 or 20 minutes, or can continue on for the whole 30.
While you're over at collage, also check out videos by Kathy Smith (Step Workout) and others by Gin Miller (or maybe its under Reebok) like Aerostep. These are just cardio.
As for weights, Kathy Smith has Secrets to a Great Body, both of which are good for beginner to intermediate, and will help you with your form.
Later, when you are not challenged by these weight tapes, come back on over to Cathe and order MIS. You can just use dumbells (barbell can come later), and will progress from there!
Good luck to you!
Wendy
