Hi Becky! I personally love netflix and have had a very fast turnover with movies from them. I have heard the rumors, but personally my service has been fine. It is really convenient and they have a ton of movies with most of them being in stock. Sometimes there is a short wait. Also, as far as workout DVDs go. I would say they have a pretty decent selection. They have Patrick Goudeau, Christi Taylor, Ellen Barrett, Seasun Z. and Jari Love. These are the fitness DVDs that I have been interested in. I think that you can go to the site before you join and browse. One thing I don't like about netflix is the browsing. It isn't very organized (maybe I just haven't figured that out yet). However, if you type in what you are interested in you will find matches.

HTH.

ETA - they have a free 2 week trial and also you can cancel at any time!

I once used netflix frequently, but consistently received scratched dvds that would not play & even a few cracked ones. Turn around was usually very quick. But I decided to cancel due to the damaged dvds issue.

I use Netflix, and lately, the service has been a little inconsistent. I've gotten a couple of cracked DVDs, too. (One was particularly annoying: ordered 3 discs of I, Claudius, and of course, the first one was cracked, so we couldn't even watch the others until a new first one came.) As far as fitness DVDs, they do have alot, but I've found that many are what I call "fitness lite." Blockbuster now has a service just like Netflix. Maybe check them out.

We have the basic netflix membership which is 1 movie at a time and about $10 a month. We only watch around 1 movie a week but it still comes out to be way less than going to blockbuster. The only thing we have trouble getting is new releases.

I solemnly swear that I am up to no good

The service has slowed down. I started recieiving them as a gift from a friend. At first the movies were coming quite fast. Now that I'm paying, they have slowed down a lot. I plan on canceling my membership after my next 3 movies. I tried many workouts but I have not found anything I like enough to do more than once. Many I just previewed and sent back. They do have a large selection though.

We've had netflix for 2 1/2 years. We love it! I've noticed my service has slowed by about a day recently but I thought is was because we moved from Boston to Alabama. I just figured it has something to do with where the shipping facility is located. But if everyone is having the same problem... hmmm. Personally, I've never had a problem getting new releases and only 2-3 times has a dvd been scratched or unplayable. It sure beats having to drive to the video store and worry about late fees.

I have had great service with Netflix. They only "throttle" accounts that rent a high volume of DVDs in a month. Some such people are likely copying the disks. Netflix has been speedy and they have an awesome collection of foreign films and documentaries for those of us bored by the crap Hollywodd has been peddling lately.

I have been a memeber for 2-1/2 years as well We are huge movie renters. I have all my family members joined up. I have excellent turnover we do the 3 @ a time. I send mine out next day I receive an email they received and next day I receive my next ones. I personally have not had any lost, cracked, scratched or broken. Now my grandma has received one broken and we contacted them and they sent a new copy out. I don't rent new releases the week they come out because you could have a short wait depends on the popularity. I love being able to get the television series that I missed in a season on dvd and keeping them as long as I can. There is so much out there. Now Fitness I can not help you as I have not tried I did a search for Cathe and they do not have them. No big deal now I can proudly say that I almost own them all. Does Cathe have stock we can all invest in? Good luck with your decision Blockbuster does have this program as well plus you get 1 free in-store rental a week I think it may be a tad bit cheaper. I started with Netflix as they were the first to start this service and I will remain faithful until they disappointment me.
