Need to vent about dishonest seller of Cathe DVDs!!

Don't know if this is the right place or not but I need to vent. I was cruising the Swap/sell on YaYa on Saturday and some girl had all of Cathe's DVDs for sale. She posted that she had accidently been sent two sets of all the DVDs instead of the one set she ordered. She wanted $45 for each or $125 for the set. She got blasted by the YaYa crew about why she didn't tell Cathe and send them back. She has since removed her post but I'm sure they'll show up on Ebay!! It really makes me soooooo mad that she's doing this. Cathe and her crew work so hard to give us great videos, handle any problems in a timely manner, deliever as promised, etc. and this gal doesn't have the decency to send the DVDs back. I hope somehow our Cathe or someone finds out and charges her for the extra set. Am I being too nasty???? Stuff like this really burns me up. Thanks for letting me vent. Bethc

I saw that too! I thought she was such a loser, now I can't remember what her name was. I think the ya-ya moderators must have removed her. I agree that was incredibly low. Pond scum mentality.

Well, Beth, that's just plain dishonest. The right thing to do is to call Cathe's company and tell them...they might offer to let her keep them for free or they might send a pick up for them. But, it's their decision to make, not hers!

Today, I was at the supermarket and forgot to pay for a big container of water (it was underneath my cart)Of course, I went back in and paid for it! Not paying for something is stealing, no matter how you slice it!
 
It's just unbelievable that there are people like that out there. My sister in-law left her camera at Chuck E Cheese's and it was not turned into the lost and found. That really urks me. There was film in there too!}(
 
I saw that too a few days ago. I couldn't believe it. She put right in her post that they accidently sent her 2 sets, but only billed her credit card for one. And I'm sure you're right, she'll just sell them on ebay.
 
I saw it too and that's just a terrible thing to do. Who knows. Maybe she took her post off because she was going to do the right thing and call SNM. She did say in her post that she had "viewed them for defects" so she can't return them can she? What a rotten thing to do. x(
 
One time someone stole my box of fabric softener sheets. I left in the apartment laundry room for about 2 minutes and when I came back it was gone. Who steals a box of fabric softener? It never ceases to amaze me what people will do!
 
You are kidding me!!! I also was sent 2 packages of Cathe dvd's, and I e-mailed them right away and UPS picked them up yesterday. How cou anyone even think about keeping something they didn't pay for???
 
I sent my second Terminator DVD back, too. No hesitation here.

Maybe UPS has a bug. I got some Math Practice books twice, too.
 
That is hilarious about the fabric softener sheets. I mean it's terrible that someone stole from you, but I had to laugh!! I think what it comes down to is that some people just have no morals and no conscience.

I expressed my thoughts under that thread at Ya Ya's too. URRRGGGGGGHHH! Hard to believe some people huh? I also thought perhaps the person has a DVD burner and copied the disks due to the fact that they were open, but boy what a lame cover to use if that was indeed the case (they sent me two but only charged for one!) Maybe I'm just a VERY skeptical/suspicious person lately. Hoping this jaded feeling ebbs,

I hope for SNM/Cathe's sake that the duplicate sending thing didn't happen to alot of people, did it??

I think the right thing to do would be to send them back, unopened. What is the point of opening them up to check to see if they had defects??? Especially if you have the exact same series!
Opening them=not having to send them back, if they were unopened, she could've sent them back..
Although, I am not sure if she meant to do this..why MENTION that you got 2 sets but only actually bought one? Usually, I would think that this info would be on the downlow if she meant to sell them to get her own set free..
Anyway, she could'a had good karma and sent them back, who knows, maybe SNM would've given her some kind of thank you discount for sending them back!

What is saddest about this story is that, when I ordered the 8-pack DVD combo in December, which included the entire CTX series and C-Max / C-Kicks, what was shipped inadvertently was only the C-Max / C-Kicks DVD; I e-mailed SNM the next morning and they shipped CTX out right away with precisely ZERO questions. They trusted me that I was telling the truth.

People can be pretty crummy sometimes, can't they?
