Need to branch out

I've been a loyal fan of Cathe for years. But it seems like Cathe is moving away from her traditional choreographed workouts. I don't want to create my own workouts, I want Cathe to offer us the best workouts based on the latest research. I love Cathe workouts, but it looks like I need to find some other instructors. Would appreciate recommendations!!

When you say choreography do you mean step? The only thing close to music driven/choreography are kick boxing now days or dance.

The dvd industry is sinking and step workouts are sunk as far as what sells.

The current workout market is more drill base, limited time cause people don't want to "learn" anything they just want to get a sweat and be done LOL

Be more specific and maybe you will get some suggestions

Dlaudy,

If it is indeed complex step choreography you are seeking, I would suggest looking into Amy Bento and Seasun Zieger's step workouts. Patrick Goudeau also has some complex step workouts from several years ago (his newer stuff is mostly metabolic)...only catch with Patrick's stuff is a lot of it is hard to find or no longer available, so you may need to get creative to find his dancey step DVDs.

Gin Miller is having a huge sale :) This is from her FB page:

DVD closeout! We're going out of the DVD business... on almost all of our titles. Our goal is to get rid of a whole lot of inventory - much of which we will no longer carry - so we've drastically reduced prices! They're marked down to .99 / 3.95 / 4.95 up to 14.95 - even on most of our popular dvds! Go get some, because when they're gone, you'll have to figure out that streaming business! http://www.ginmillerdvds.com/

Keri Anderson. Petra Kolber, Kathy Smith, Jane Fond, CIA Sharon Towmbly, Tanya Larson, Keli Roberts, Best of Crunch Step w/Kandall Hogan.

I have an extra Christy Taylor Totally hot step dvd :) Still in shrink wrap. If you are interested sent me a p.m :)

I remember working out to Gin's Reebok Step workouts, with that industrial setting. The voice over, and hand cues. Back then, I thought it was hot stuff. I've always like Gin. She has a great sense of humor. As a matter of fact, I was just checking out my DVDs. I have both workouts on VHS. LOL!

Can you do video streaming on a computer or the like? The Gymbox has tons of step workouts with choreographed moves. There are so many I have never done the same one twice - I just learn it as I go and be done. Its 10/month which I think is a really good value for what you get since there are classes on dance, pilates, yoga, treadmill, step, spin, Kickbox, stretch, extreme cardio.... You can log on with just about any device, computer and they have a Roku channel too. Good Luck!!
