Need suggestions on advanced pilates workouts...

I have been doing pilates for quite awhile now, but need some more advanced workouts. I usually like to buy workouts that focus mainly on the abs. Any recommendations are welcome. I cannot tolerate Mari Windsor, so please anything but her is fine. These are what I have:

*Quick Fix Pilates Abs w/Keli Roberts
*Mind Body and Mat w/Hilary Burnett Inter & Advanced
*Pilates for Abs w/Ana Caban (my fave)
*MTV Pilates & Pilates Mix w/Kristen Mcgee

TIA

Hi Aila,

I don't have any suggestions for pilates but wondered how the Hardcore Strength rotation is going for you? I have not seen you check in the past few days, or did I miss it? How do you like the calipers?

Have a great day!

Hi Beverly,

How have you been? I decided to start an endurance rotation. I have been using the Gym Styles for about 6 weeks now and I feel like I hit a plateau. I did increase the weight and did have some strength gains. I think I just need a little break. I want to do some circuit workouts and total body endurance workouts right now.

I never got the calipers. They were suppose to deliver it in the beginning of Feb., but then they were out of stock and was on backorder until April, so I cancelled the order. I think i'm going to get an Omron instead. I have heard nothing but great stuff about them. I am shopping around trying to find one at a good price. I may bid on one on Ebay.

I would suggest the dvd "The Pilates Method for Weight Loss" by Body Wisdom. Excellent dvd. There are several options on it and there is an intermediate and challenging and bonus routine! Fantastic!

I agree that Mari Winsor can get very annoying! I have all her stuff and a full collection of pilates dvds and videos. There is one out that Karen Voigt just did, I have not bought it yet, but saw that one at Shopko?? I usually hear good things about her :)

Hope this helps. I have the website at home and will post it later.....:D

Hi Aila,

I have a hand held Omron body fat analyzer and I really love it.

6 weeks is quite awhile on the strength rotation, I think I would be ready for a change too.
