need some suggestions

Hi everyone:

My name is Tammy and I need some video advice. I'm looking to tone but more impotantly loose 15 pounds or so...along with some inches of my stomach/sides.thighs/but.....you know the problem areas....

I have alot of firm karen voight and cathe cardio kicks...which by the way I still have a hard time getting through. I'm thinking of getting more cathe's and may one of fitprimes....can you please give me some suggestions on what has worked for you. I have been eyeing cathe's dvd for a while....please any advice qwoul truly help.

Plus I'm looking rfor tapes that I can modify when i get pregnant. I also only use 3 and 5lb weights right now...I know I'm a whimp.

When I first started doing cathe tapes i needed to lose the 15 pounds which i had gained...now that its gone of course I want to lose more.Before I found the Cathe tapes though I started jogging for 20 min a day.But most importantly you have to watch what goes in your mouth....words I wish I could live by...
With that said, my first cathe tape was Body Max.It is tougher then cardio kicks.You start off with about 25 min of step and then you go into circuts, which consist of a few minutes of step and then some step.I think there are five circuits.
Then at the end of that there is another 30 minute segment which works your upper body and abs.
Considering that you want to lose weight and part of it being in the bottom half of your body i think this one would be nice because he circuts and squats and lunges.
Three years later I am still using the tape and still find it to be a challenging work out.But i think that whatever Cathe tape you do you will see results.Cross Train Express would also be good for you.Then you would have a video every day of the week.Hope I helped....as for the pregnate thing i will need help with that one myself later....

I am not sure how much you have to spend, but if you can afford it, I STRONGLY suggest the CTX DVD. It is so versitile! I did a CTX rotation for 8 weeks and lost 10 lbs. I also use them now in other rotations. The short cardio comes in handy on days when I am crunched for time and the weight work can be used when I do a Firm tape but want extra shoulder work or bicep work. I love this series! It would also be a great intro to Cathe's style since it incorporates step, hi/lo, kickbox (although you have Cardio Kicks so you know how tough her style is there!) and weight work. I also think that MIS or Body Max would be good since you can split them into seperate workouts. Have fun!
 
Hey Jillybean- you just gave me the final incentive to get CTX - I want it for the cardio but I was wondering what to do with the short weight training sessions - Adding it to firms for extra work is a great idea! I was just contemplating doing the firm Classic hip/thigh but it is lacking in upper body work!
