Need some new instructor ideas

Cathlete
I need new instructors (aerobics and weights) but ones with a max of intermediate level intensity (choreography isn't a problem). I have all of Cathe's beg/int level stuff so she's not an option.

I'm just getting back into working out at home, hence the need for easier stuff. My fitness level just isn't there anymore.

Thanks for the input!

i recently ordered a few of amy bento's earlier offerings and have enjoyed them very much that i will be ordering her all pump, bootcamp ,and step workouts in the near future. she also put out a newer extreme series that can be inter/adve. her website. http://www.nrgfitness.net has clips of the workouts and like cathe she also offers premixes YAY!!!!her earlier works can be purchased at deepdiscount.com for $11 a piece while her newer ones are pretty well priced for what she offers. i think they are under $20 however can be purchased at her site, collagevideo.com and advancedworkouts.com.

for good strength workouts(i really mean strength not just weights) is mindy mylrea's workouts. i don't care for her cardio workouts but offereings like strength toolbox are awesome and i like the idea of gliding(i purches furniture movers that work just like gliders and are cheaper) b/c it really gets me to use muscles i haven't worked before.

just some suggestions of things i tried,i hope that helps

I knpow I have said this before but I really really like Patrick Goudeau. His choreography is complex. He's fun fun fun and he is not as intense as Cathe if that is what you are looking for. He has a bit of everything. HTH

I just discovered Kelly Coffey Meyer, Kim Miller and katina Hunter - I am concentrating on their workouts right now; I also just purchased Carole Paradise's Step by Design. I also purchased Kathy Ireland's older tapes on DVD and am enjoying her ab one. maryann

Cathe is the best instructor, but I also enjoy:
Kimberly Spreen , Sharon Twombly, Kelly Coffey-Meyer, Tracey Steahle, and Amy Bento. You can check out video clips at collagevideo.com (except for Tracey's she has a web site where you can view hers fitbytracey.com)

Hope this helps

Amy Bento shows nice long previews on her website (www.nrgfitness.net) that give you a really good feel for the workouts. I too love many of the instructors mentioned above with Amy Bento (I have all of hers except APX and BC) and the new CIA's being my favorites, but I would count Amy as pretty advanced along with Sharon's workout. You may want to check out the TLT's for functional fitness workouts that are tough in a completely different way than Cathe but may be more intermediate to high intermedicate if I had to guess. Check out www.tracielongtraining.com. Jari Love may be a good one to check out as well. I find you can really grow with those workouts, but they are all weight workouts and one is circuit. I've recently added a lot of different workouts/instructors to my routine in addition to my beloved Cathe's and I have really enjoyed the variety. Good luck!

I second all of Jen's recommendations. Amy Bento is rapidly becoming one of my favorite instructors. I have never found a hi/lo workout that I liked let alone loved, but Amy's Hi/Lo Extreme is one of my favorite workouts. I actually look forward to doing it. I also like Kelly Coffey-Meyer's workouts, but anyone from that list has great workout choices. I think you can make them work for an intermediate. When I workout with my sister she's barely an intermediate, but we do my workouts and she just modifies, but still gets a great workout. Plus it gives her something to work up to.
