need opinions please!

Hi all you fit people!! I am currently 12 weeks post partum and am trying to get back into shape ( I couldn't workout due to severe asthma) I have easily about 60 - 70 lbs to lose. I don't know if I should try a P90X rotation. It seems like that program is more for building muscle and creating a stronger body than for losing weight. Any input?

Also, did anyone find one of Cathe's (or any other rotation) that really worked for them? While I love my new bundle of joy (and my older two bundles as well) I really don't love the way I look, feel etc. Any advice, input is greatly appreciated!!

I wouldn't do a P90X rotation right now if losing 60-70 pounds is your goal. For me there wasn't enough cardio in it (I'm kind of a cardio junkie and for ME I think I need more cardio). I love P90X and I would definitely recommend it down the line, but I would choose something with a lot more cardio - some sort of fat burning rotation to lose the weight. I don't do any of the rotations, so I'm of no help to you there. Sorry! I'm sure some of the other people on here who do the rotations will be more help to you. I hear them talk about fat burning rotations all the time.

If you are just getting back to fitness, the X is not for you (yet!) as it is a truly hardcore, advanced routine.

I am seeing good results with Cathe's Aug. 04 Fat Loss/Leg & Glute rotation. Since you're probably a time-strapped new mom, you may also want to check out the 1 hr. fat loss rotation designed by FitnessFreak.

Hi Cathy. I'm doing the January rotation: Let's work. I'm pretty sure it's from 2005. Anyway, in two weeks i've lost 2 pounds and I can feel a difference in all my clothes. Of course i'm following this rotation with a 98% clean diet. I think this one is great to jumpstart any routine! Anyway, good luck to you!
