Need New Cardio

Heather - Thanks so much for the insight on CC - especially on it helping you make it through a treadmill run. I seriously dread running on the "dreadmill." The only way I get through it is with tempo drills or HITT work so I am definitely going to give CC a try!

I second...or fifth Cardio coach. I usually only can run outiside or I get way too bored but with CC I can run for an hour inside and can't believe where the time has gone!
Even on a bike.

Sancho and Heather... I was on the fence before about Insanity, thinking I would wait till after STS Cardio came out... but now I am thinking that I need a little Shaun T punshiment!

Sancho are all the workouts about 30 min? Is it helping you reach your goals?

Month 1 workouts are about 40 minutes-ish and Month 2 are about 55 minutes. The stretch in the beginning is 7 minutes (after the tough warm up), so if you skip that, you can lessen the time. I recommend doing the stretch at least the first few times.
You can always skip the last set of intervals if you need them to be shorter or you can go back and do a set of intervals to make it longer.

You will probably have STS in about a month, so at this point, you probably should wait. Insanity is a 2 month rotation. Although, not many people did the rotation as posted. I liked it, but some people felt it was too much repetition.

As for my goals, I would love to lose about 10 pounds. I lost maybe a couple when I did the Insanity rotation. My weight fluctuates, so it's hard for me to tell and my eating is not good. The one thing I did notice is much more definition in my arms, legs, core and especially my shoulders. Even my husband looked at me one day and said, "man, you've got snowcones on your shoulders". Cardio-wise, I definately improved.
 
Thanks Sancho! I have been very curious. It sounds very hard. Perfect! I also have a hard time raising my heart rate. I will ask for this for Christmas and do both Shock Cardio and this. I won't be bored for a long time.
 
i also have pf and no longer do step. i can do insanity and have just ordered aerospace jump/sculpt. i like aerospace savage too-kb,jumping,legs
