Need more challenging Ab workouts,help!!

I thought coremax would be a little harder. What other difficult ab workouts (not cathe) have you done? I'm looking for something on par with p90x ab ripper(which I love but am getting sick of)

Thanks!!

Do you have a gym membership? If you do I can give you some great exercises.

Also you could try using weights w/Cathe's workouts. I had a similar problem & I bought a 20 lb med ball to incorporate into her ab hits.

Otherwise, I could give you some decent exercises to do at home if you have the equipment, but I'm not aware of any actual videos. PM me if you want.

I know what you mean about Ab Ripper! I loved the results I got from it. After I started getting bored with it, I'd add a 2 or 3# medicine ball to the exercises I could, or do some of them while seated on my rebounder (or a balance disc). That would change things up a bit. (You could also try doing the exercises in a different order.)

Some other core workouts I've found to be as challenging: TLP (Tracie Long Productions) "Core Foundations" (lots of stability ball work).
The "Core and Flexibility Trainïng" workout from gliding pro (from www.glidingpro.com ). Though it's a bit short.

I am in awe of anyone who does not find Core Max challenging.

Way to go!!:7 :7

Kathryn,

Thanks for the Core Foundations recommendation. I was wondering about that one. I had seen it mentioned quite a bit on videofitness. I think I'll check it out.

Thanks again,
Kristie

Have you ever tried the BOSU? I do Cathe's workouts on the BOSU - all ab work is much more challenging on that. I have had mine for 2 years and have gotten awesome results.

I do planks on it too - I put my feet on it and supporting my upper body on my elbows is harder than on my hands.

Do you knopw what a BOSU is?

Cheryl

Cheryl,,

Yes I have used a BOSU at a gym before. I don't recall doing abs on it though. Good idea, maybe Ill see if I can find a used one.

Thanks
