Need Help with Abs...FitnessFreak??

Hi Debbie,

I want to start a rotation which really works my abs hard. I have a lost alot of inches overall and see great definition everywhere except my abs. I still have excess fat, mostly in the front as opposed to my obliques, and I just have to burn it off. I eat pretty clean (at least I think I do), and have seen inches come off of my waistline, but it is still flubbery on top of the muscle. If I can get rid of it by summer's end, I will be one happy camper:7. Any recommendations on a rotation which will get rid of this mess?

P.S. I will be picking up Oxygen just to read your article:) I saw your pic on picture trail and you look awesome!

Diet is the key to washboard abs. You need to cut down on the carbs to get that cut look. All the ab work in the world will not define your abs until that last layer of fat is gone. Cardio and lower carbs will do that. I'd recommend doing one of the "Get Ready for Summer" rotations. They will burn fat for you.

You won't find that Oxygen article. It was in 2006 I believe.

Good thing you told me about the Oxygen article...LOL..I would have been searching that magazine from cover to cover!

Can you let me know what you think is an appropriate amount of carbs per day? I try to limit my carbs to whole grains when possible (brown rice, multi-grain bread, etc.) Should I limit/eliminate those as well? I will definitely give the Get Ready for Summer rotation a go. Will let you know how it works for me ;-)
