Need equivalent to MIC...

I'm currently doing Cathe's May rotation (which I'm loving so far) and I don't have MIC, are there any workouts I could substitute from the IS or BB series that are similar in intensity? I also have the power hour dvd...

Hi. Go to page two of this forum and read a thread titled..."Which Cathe Cardio Are More Intense" and you will find lots of opinions for a sub for MIC. I don't remember how to do a link or I would have just put it here for you...sorry.

If you have the Intensity Series and the Body Blast Series on DVD, here is a suggested substitute mish-mosh for MIC:

Kick Punch Crunch warm-up THROUGH PRESTRETCH (takes you into the first aerobic segment); then

Step Jump Pump hi/lo add-on premix (this omits all resistance cycles); THEN

Boot Camp cardio only premix, omitting warm-up

That should run about 30-35 minutes. If the May rotation calls for the entire MIC workout including the 35-minute step segment, I'd suggest adding on either I-Max 2 Blast Only premix (which omits warm-up and mid-range step segments) or Step Blast omitting warm-up, for as long as you can go.

Also, if you have the CTX series either on vid or DVD, here is another hi/lo mish-mosh:

Power Circuit warm-up and hi/lo segment; THEN

10-10-10 hi/lo segment; THEN

Boot Camp cardio only premix, omitting warm-up (can you tell I'm a slave to that premix?).

Add on interval step routine of choice, again, if MIC is to be completed in its entirety.
