Need Advice on Selection of dvd's

I loved Body Blast t'day on Fit Tv. That's the kind of workout I love... very challenging! Can someone recommend a wholistic workout that doesn't
include kickboxing/step? I simply haven't the room for it in my home.

My goal is to build muscle/tone/shape...I'm 52 and losing muscle quickly.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Maybe the Muscle Endurance workout from the Intensity seris would be helpful to you. It is very good total body strength workout. You would need a high step or a fanny lifter to do the leg presses with.

Cathe's Pyramid Upper Body and Pyramid Lower Body workouts are also wonderful for gaining strength and building muscle.

When you first get started with Cathe's strength, do not think you have to use nearly as much weight as she uses. You can use weights that challange you and increase the poundage as you get stronger.

Her Power Hour and Muscle Max workouts are another couple of strength workouts you may want to consider. You would need a step in both of these to perform some of the exercises on. The step is not used for step aerobic moves, only for a strength training tool.

Hope that helps you some!

Thanx for the response & suggestions, Renee! I've never encountered such balanced workout regimes as Cathe offers, and I've been doing this since my teens - used to watch Jack LaLanne on tv!

I went ahead and ordered:

-Muscle Max
-Core Max
-Gym Legs
-Gym Upper Body
-Kick Max for the leg conditioning

Great suggestions, Renee...

Very good choices! You will have a blast with these. A sweaty blast of course!

Yes, Cathe is the best in the business, in my opinion.

Kick Max does not take up a lot of floor space for the kickbox workout. If you feel brave, give it a try! LOL!

Take care and enjoy! :)
