Need advice choosing new video!

Thought I'd ask the educated crowd for help choosing my next videos. I already have PS series, MI strength, Imax, and BodyMax. I will be ordering the CTX, Cardio Kicks,CircuitMax and probably MI Cardio. I can't decide between Powermax,StepWorks,StepHeat or MegaStepBlast. I don't really have a problem with choreography, but time is pretty scarce. So I would like something shorter (1 hr) and lighter to alternate with tougher topes. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Step Heat!

Hi Valerie,
All of the tapes you mentioned are 1-hr. workouts. Step Heat has a shorter stepping section (35 min.)than the others. It also is definitely a lighter, less intense workout, using less power-moves, than StepWorks and PowerMax (I don't have MegaStepBlast yet so I can't compare it to that one). It also has less complicated choreography. AND, it includes a good abs section, too. It is a great tape to alternate between the tougher workouts. I *think* the intensity of MegaStepBlast is light too, compared to StepWorks and PowerMax, but like I said, I can't say for sure. Anyway, sounds like StepHeat might be exactly what you're looking for.
Hope this helps--Debbie

Pmax and Stepworks..

are definitely not for lighter days. Of the ones you mentioned, those are the two I have. HOWEVER, Stepworks is such a blast that I have used it as a light day by doing it on the floor, lower impact. Just don't use a step for Cathe tapes and they become much easier, still incredibly fun, and a good workout. Powermax isn't as fun (in my opinion), and I've never tried it on the floor. I just love Stepworks--maybe because it was my first Cathe tape (other than TWV, which I'm not crazy about). So, I hope that doesn't make your decision harder!!!

I agree with Wendy and Debbie

Of your options, I would go with Step Heat. PM and Step Works are fabulous workouts, but by no stretch of the imagination are they for lighter days! :) The abs work at the end of Step Heat is a great bonus too! Happy ordering! :)

RE: I agree with Wendy and Debbie

Thanks everybody for your input. I think I'll try StepHeat,
although in the end I'll probably have them all! I just need something that won't kill me after a couple of tough days of intense Cathe. I'm even tring to get my husband to try Cathe's strength tapes. I'm impressed that some of your husbands have already. Got any hints on how you did it?

You may have already purchased your new tape, but I thought I'd add also that Step Heat would be my choice. I have all the step tapes you mentioned, and PowerMax and StepWorks are definitely the more intense. MegaStepBlast is lighter but if you have the wedding video I've found that many of the moves are similar so you may get more variety as far as choreography goes, not to mention a bonus abs section with Step Heat.

Happy Stepping,

Stacy

Hi!

I'd go with StepHeat... It's about an hour total, but seems short cuz it has an ab section at the end, so the step portion is only about 45 mins. Even though it's short, it's still pretty intense, so you still feel like you're getting a good workout in... and you don't have to do the ab section if you're really pressed for time... Hope that helps!! :)

Thanks Tweety2 and Stacy for your help. Tapes are on the way and should be here tomorrow. I can't wait, although I'm so sore from getting started again after being lazy for the last two months. I can't belive how fast you lose ground when you don't workout. I plan on doing the CTX for about 4 weeks then I don't know. I've never really followed a rotation, just tried to get in a balance of strength and cardio. Now after listening to the "educated crowd" I understand following a rotation and changing it every 4-6 weeks is the best. Anyway, got to get ready for work, have a great day.

P.S. I order StepHeat along with all the new ones and MIC.
