Need a new workout for beginners

I loved the basic step but all the other Cathe workouts I have tried are too intense for me and my aging joints. More workouts are needed for beginners and for those who need to work there way up to a more advanced level. Not everyone who starts working out is 25 years old!
 
how about trying low impact step w/total boday sculpting? There's also a total body stretching dvd with 3 lvls also:D
 
try cardio and weights, you can reduce the amount of weight you use and any movement too difficult can always be improvised. in this video, i find the jumping squats on the step too hard on my back, so i do jumping jacks or repeater knee. just go at your own pace and you'll be fine, don't put pressure on yourself to keep up, stay within your own cardio range.
