Need a little guidance gang

I know that Cathe is busy making more tapes for us to devour, but perhaps the "educated crowd" out there could answer this one for me. I'm pretty new to Cathe tapes (been FIRMing for years) and I have two questions.

First, I have been using the PS series M-W-F and doing cardio on T-T-S and resting on Sunday. Here's my question: If I am really (and I mean REALLY) sore from my weight training, is it still okay to do my aerobic session on the following day?

Second, does anyone have any suggestions on the best way to conquer Interval Max? I would LOVE to hear from ANYONE who can make it all the way through this tape and lives to tell their tale. Please help me by sharing your thoughts.

I'd probably skip it.

If I'm so sore from weight training that it's painful, I usually will not work out at all the following day. If I'm just "normal" sore, cardio the next day usually helps loosen me up a bit and helps get rid of the soreness.

I've made it through all of Interval Max, but never at the highest intensity. I always have to modify -- and probably always will, since my arches and knees don't really like some of the jumping moves too much. Cathe has previously recommended tackling it in sections over several workout sessions -- maybe doing the first 5 intervals at a lower intensity and fast-forwarding to the cool down and stretch... working up gradually to the first 5 intervals at full intensity... then adding on intervals as you're comfortable with them, first at the lower intensity and working up to full intensity, until you're able to make it through the whole workout.

Good luck with Interval Max! In spite of how tough it is, it's my favorite Cathe video -- I really LOVE the music!

Thanks Lynne

Just a quick note of thanks for your input. I finally got around to reading the posts on this site and found Cathe's suggestions for getting through Interval Max. I've started to do it in small increments. Yes, it's fun...but my oh my...it's TOUGH! I can't wait until the day that I can get through the entire thing. What a challenge!
