Cathlete
I'm not sure if you saw my post in the Lucky thread.

I found a pair of Sweet N Lows on the site with a 29'' inseam.

Here's my earlier post to you in the other thread just in case you don't see it:

>Thanks, Dani. Don't know why I was so confused this morning.
> I haven't been able to find a single pair in the shorter
>length that you mentioned though.

Nancy!

This link here has a length of 29''. They are Sweet N Lows. What do you think? On the right hand side where it says "Choose an Inseam" the 29'' length is available.

Good luck! I hope you find a pair you like.

Great Nancy!!

Have you ever worn Guess jeans? I noticed I wear a 29 size in Guess jeans and that translates to a size 8 in these Lucky's. I generally wear a size 6 or 8 depending on the pants.

Okay, once you click on the inseam choice, the size selection pops up.

They are:

00/24
2/26
4/27
6/28
8/29
10/30
12/31
14/32

The second number is Eurpoean size? The same sizing numbers that Guess jeans uses. I hope that helps!

Hey Dani -

I wondered about the sizing. When I went to try them on at the store, I'm walking around like an idiot going "26, 27, 30, what? I wear a small...how does that translate? Or maybe I wear a 2, 4, or sometimes a 6. Or what about a 5 or a 7. Nope...none of those numbers were even close to 26, 27, 30. I thought they were waist size. In any case, I'm glad I tried them on! Thanks for the conversion chart! Why, oh why, do they make clothing shopping so difficult for women?!?

I know...not really a valid complaint given the state of the world...but, hey, it is still annoying.

have a great day!
Shonie

I don't want to be the nay sayer here but I will....

When I went to the Lucky store, I found that the different styles varied in how they fit from size to size. That's why I wouldn't by them by mail. But, I do not have a convenient mailing service near me so I get frustrated when buying things by mail and having to return them.

I normally wear a 4 or 6. More 6's than 4's. In the Lucky's, I wear a 4 in the Easy style I purchased.

RE: Nancy! ****nancy324**** (re: short length Lucky's...

Yes you guys are right about the different styles. I wear a 6 in the Lucky Easy Fit Jean and an 8 in the Lucky straight leg styles.

Oh, and guess what DH wants for Christmas! Another pair of Lucky's! He loves them too! They are his favorite! They look great on him too!

Have a great day ladies!!!

Dani,

I think Lucky owes you a free pair for all the pairs you've probably sold on this site! LOL!

Candi!

Hi Candi, now I can't forget you because your the one that sent me the book, but anyway this has nothing to do with the Lucky Jeans but I wanted to let you know that you can do any returns right from your home using the www.usps.com. That is what I do now because you can either leave the package at the front door or drop it in the near mailbox. You just print out the label and tape it onto the orignal package. Usally I figure out the weight from the orignal package. Just a suggestion:) Have a great day:)

RE: Candi!

Well, I guess I need to start thinking outside the box a little. I didn't even realize I could do this. That's great! You know what this will mean? I will start spending more money on catalog stuff.

You should have mentioned that when I waited three weeks to get to the post office to mail you the book, LOL!

Thanks, Barbara. That was sweet of you to make the suggestion.
:)

RE: Candi!

Barbara,
That's great! Thanks for the tip. I didn't know that. My DH works from home, so UPS can pick up the package from him.
