Mystery Videos

While searching online for fitness videos, I've come across a few from Cathe that I've never seen or heard of, and when I click on them for mor info, there is never any available. What's the story with "Rock Bottoms", "Fit and Firm", and "Cardio Step Challenge"?

These are super old videos. They're from the 70's (just kidding). I think they are from the 80's though. The quality & challenge is nothing like her videos today. I tried two of them that I bought on eBay. I was disappointed. Cathe has done nothing but improve (just the way it's suppose to be). She's probably embarrassed to sell them now (does that sound harsh?). That's all I know.

I have all three of those videos. They are from 1991 or 1992 and they are solid workouts. They aren't advanced and the style isn't like the Cathe we see today, but they are fine for the folks who like lighter workout days, or for those who may just be getting into working out.

Cardio Step Challenge is more of an intermmediate level aerobic workout. The choreography is rather simple and the routines are repeated a lot. You will work up a sweat, but if you are used to Cathe's current style, I have a feeling you just might get board with it...at one point she teaches the arms for a combination while doing basic steps and though I have never actually counted, I think there must be about 50 basic steps per side as she teaches the arms which are actually pretty simple.:)

Fit and Firm is a long light weight (and I mean light!) higher rep workout. Its one of those older type of weight workouts where you go from say, shoulders, to back, to biceps with the same weight.

Rock Bottoms is more of a beginner lower body tape. Cathe does very little standing leg work, and again she uses very light weights. She also does some classic floor work for the butt and the thighs.

:) As Dee Dee said, these videos were from 1992 and they were the cream of the crop back in their day! I am an original owner of these vids and still do them occasionally! Cathe has come a long way!:D
