LAST EDITED ON Nov-29-02 AT 06:49AM (Est)[p]and they fit, BUT they feel a little tight along the top of my foot, which is quite bony, I have a bone that protrudes out quite a bit (genetic :-rollen). What do you think ? Bearing in mind I am overweight, and the feet do tend to shrink once weight loss happens ? For the sake of £20s ($30s), should I keep them ? will the shoes stretch after a while ? Is it because they are so new ? Or should I just accept the fact that I have huge, fat feet ?

Suggestions welcome, please, everyone :)

Thanks

Anna :)

Big feet here too! :)

Well, they will stretch eventually, but will you be comfortable enough in them for now is the question? Nothing will ruin a workout faster than hurting feet, so you may want to do a cardio in them first and see how your feet feel.

Mine are always a little snug initially, but not so snug they're uncomfortable, but then again, I wear an 11 in Ryka and a 10 in everything else so?????????????????

But you are right about losing weight in your feet, so far I've lost an entire shoe size! I actually gave away 6 pairs of never worn high heels in various colors to Goodwill last Christmas because my shoe size dropped from an 11 to a 10. I was a little upset because I never got to wear the shoes (all bought on sale at some point previously and stuck away in the closet!), but "oh happy day" to lose a shoe size!

I digressed~sorry.......
But put them on, take a spin on the step and see how they feel! Then decide whether or not to keep them! :)

OK, OK, I admit defeat, I have decided to send them back :)'()and get a refund - they are just too uncomfortable :-(. I shall have to start checking out other brands, but can you get a man's AEROBIC sports shoe ???????? :-hmmm

Anna :)

Hi Anna:

I think you have made the right decision. Feet are too important to mess around with. The shoes need to be comfortable right then and there, unless there is some reason why your feet might be swollen a litle at the time you try the shoes on, like say, it's Summer, wwhen feet can be puffier.

My Rykas, bought last Jan, have not stretched. They are a good size for me in that they have enough room in them that I can lace them a little looser in Summer to acommodate the pufiness, and lce them a little tighter in Winter when my feet are slimmer.

Try Reebok again. I had a pair of these once and they provided good support for high impct activities. They also came in very large, actually too large for my normal width, size 6 feet (UK size). They might have exactly what you are looking for.

Good luck

Clare

I just wear ordinary Reebok aerobic shoes that are soft and v. comfortable. I have never experienced any problems with them.
