My rotation...your advice is needed/welcome!!

Hi,

I think it's time I devise a rotation for myself, as my workouts have been a little scattershot as of late

Here are my Cathe DVD's i'll be using...

Muscle Max
Kick Max
KPC
Drill Max
Total Body Stretching

Monday...Muscle Max plus segment of TBS
Tuesday...KPC
Wednesday...Muscle Max/TBS segment
Thursday...Kick Max
Friday....Drill Max cardio/no weights
Saturday...Drill Max/weights/TBS segment
Sunday...zzzzzz

I have a question for you. Well actually two. 1) Will you be Ok with the intensity of KM and DM cardio on two consecutive days? And 2) On Saturday is DM weights only and no cardio?


Three day of total body weights is ok for a while IMO. I have done rotations with 3 days total body weights and 3 days cardio for about 6 weeks at a time, then I switch to a 3 or4 day split or even one body part per day for a little change up and unpredictability.

Your back will get a very intense workout with this rotation and may even need some extra rest with three days weight work and two days kick boxing. Your hammies will also get a good whipping, but the TBS should help.

Also, what are your goals?

Thanks for the input!! I may have to change things up and adjust my rest day to fall in between Kick Max and Drill Max.

My goals are to add lean muscle without too much bulk, so I know I have to eat a cleaner diet to achieve that.

I am certainly not married to this rotation, which is why I'm grateful for the input.
