My own rotation

Cathlete
Hi all! This is my first attempt to make up my own rotation. Could someone (or more) please critique it? Weeks 1&3: day 1: PUB, day 2: cardio, day 3: PLB, day 4: off, day 5: PUB, day 6: cardio, day 7: PLB week 2 timesaver dvd from body blast series, doing the weight sections 2 or 3 times. weeks 4&6 day 1: ME, day 2:cardio, day 3: ME, day 4: off, day 5:cardio, day 6: ME, day 7: cardio. week 5 same as weeks 4&6 but substituting PH instead of ME. I was going for the 3 week split workout and 3 week full body. Right now my cathe dvd's are Intensity series, Body Blast series with timesaver, ab hits, cardio hits, HSTA, and PH.(PH in video). In Nov I will be ordering the gym styles, but I dont want to include those yet because I'm not sure when I'll be recieving them. I hope this makes sense. I'm not computer literate enough to figure out how to line up the days to make them easier to read. Thanks in advance for your help! :)

Hi Deanie!
If you want to line up the days to make it easier to read just hit enter when you get to the end of your line and start your next line:
Weeks 1 & 3
Day 1: PUB
Day 2: Cardio
Day 3: PLB
Day 4: Rest
Day 5: PUB
Day 6: Cardio
Day 7: PLB
Week 2:
Body Blasts Timesaver
Weeks 4 & 6:
Day 1: ME
Day 2: Cardio
Day 3: ME
Day 4: Rest
Day 5: Cardio
Day 6: ME
Day 7: Cardio
Week 5:
Day 1: PH
Day 2: Cardio
Day 3: PH
Day 4: Rest
Day 5: Cardio
Day 6: PH
Day 7: Cardio
I did it so I could read it better:) I think your rotation looks good. If you don't get bored doing PH or ME 3 x's a week. Once you learn the workouts you could do cardo 3 x's a week and ME once, PH once, BC once. Or if you get bored with PUB you could do ME upper body premix and BC upper body premix instead. To keep the cardio effective you may want to be sure and include one interval(Imax 2 or SB/SJP Cardio Circuit Premix),one kickbox(KPC form BB series), one steady sate or lower intensity cardio. After doing your rotation for a while you will know if you want more cardio or more wieght work or less endurance based weight work and you can adjust accordingly. I get a lot of ideas from A-jock and others who post their rotaitons ideas on the forums. Also, what are your goals for working out? That will help others give you ideas. Anyway, welcome and enjoy your workouts!

Thanks so much Angela.:) I think I will alternate ME once, PH once, and BC or HSTA once for those 3 weeks. I love HSTA and never know when to work it in! I am familiar with both ME, HSTA and PH as I've done them all in seperate rotations already. I do also have low max and do plan to alternate all the cardio I have. I just think I want to do the cardio I feel like that day instead of what's written on the workout sheet. Don't know if that's a good idea or not.? I don't actually have any goals, except for definition and variety in my work outs.

Your welcome! Based on your goals it looks like you are good to go! Lately, I've been very busy and got so bogged down in rotations that all of a sudden I realized I was not looking foward to working out anymore. I'm enjoying my workouts much more now that I'm making a tentatvie plan yet leaving room for what I want/am able to do that day. I will go back to a strict rotation eventually but for now I want to keep working out regularly and enjoy my workouts without it adding more stress to my life. I think your mind set towards working out is a good one! Enjoy!
